AKTU has released the UPTAC 2026 Round 3 seat allotment and cutoff matrix on July 30 at uptac.samarth.edu.in. Allotted candidates must complete seat acceptance and fee payment by August 1 to secure their engineering seats.
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has released the Round 3 seat allotment. The Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) 2026 result went live on July 30. The allotment and cutoff matrix are at uptac.samarth.edu.in.
The Round 3 result covers candidates who filled choices between July 27 and 28. Allotted students must complete seat acceptance by August 1. Missing this deadline will forfeit the allotted seat.

UPTAC 2026 Participating Institutes and Courses
UPTAC is the centralised counselling for technical programmes in Uttar Pradesh. It covers seats in institutes affiliated to AKTU across the state.
Round 3 counselling handles admission to BTech, BArch, BPharm, MBA, and MCA courses. Seats are offered in state government, government-aided, and private participating colleges.
How to Check the UPTAC 2026 Round 3 Seat Allotment?
Candidates can view their allotted college, branch, and category through a simple login. Follow the steps below to check the Round 3 result.
- Visit the official portal at uptac.samarth.edu.in.
- Click on the Round 3 seat allotment link on the homepage.
- Log in using the application number and password.
- The allotment letter will appear on the screen.
- Download the letter and save a printed copy.
What Are Freeze and Float Options in UPTAC 2026?
Allotted candidates must choose between two seat retention options during acceptance. Both options require paying the seat acceptance fee.
- Freeze: The candidate accepts the allotted seat and exits later rounds.
- Float: The candidate accepts the current seat but stays open to upgrade.
Round 4 is an auto-freeze round for those who float in Round 3. No fresh choice filling is allowed at that stage.
Where to Check the UPTAC 2026 Round 3 Cutoff Matrix?
The Round 3 cutoff matrix lists opening and closing ranks for every institute. Candidates can find the file inside the cutoff matrix section of the portal.
- Go to uptac.samarth.edu.in/index.php/cut-off-matrix.
- Select the Round 3 tab from the list.
- Pick the course, institute, and category to view ranks.
- Download or save the cutoff sheet for future reference.
Documents Required for UPTAC 2026 Seat Acceptance
Candidates should keep key documents ready before starting the acceptance step. The same set will be needed later at institute reporting.
- Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and certificates
- JEE Main 2026 scorecard for BTech and BArch aspirants
- Category and sub-category certificates where applicable
- Domicile certificate for Uttar Pradesh candidates
- Passport size photograph and signature
Round 3 is the last active choice-filling round in UPTAC 2026. Students who skip acceptance now will lose their seat before Round 4 begins.
