The Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC), conducted by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), has released the UPTAC 2026 Special Round 1 Cutoff for Round 6. Candidates can now check the college-wise, course-wise and category-wise closing ranks on the official portal at uptac.samarth.edu.in.

The UPTAC Special Round 1 cutoff was released on August 18, 2026, along with the Round 6 seat allotment result. The cutoff matrix shows the closing rank for different participating institutes, programmes and reservation categories.

Candidates can use the Special Round 1 closing ranks to check the admission trend for their preferred colleges and courses. Those who have been allotted seats must complete physical reporting at the allotted institute from August 19 to 21, 2026.

How to Check UPTAC 2026 Special Round 1 Cutoff?

The UPTAC 2026 Special Round 1 cutoff matrix is available on the official Samarth portal. Candidates can filter the cutoff according to institute, programme and reservation category to check the applicable closing rank.

1. Visit the official UPTAC website at uptac.samarth.edu.in.
2. Click on the Cut Off Matrix link available on the homepage.
3. Select Special Round 1 (Round 6) under the Activity filter.
4. Choose the required institute, programme and reservation category.
5. Submit the details to view the UPTAC Special Round 1 closing rank.
6. Download or save the cutoff matrix for future admission reference.

What Does UPTAC Special Round 1 Cutoff Show?

The UPTAC Special Round 1 cutoff indicates the last rank at which admission was offered for a particular college, programme and category during Round 6.

UPTAC 2026 Special Round 2 Cutoff and Allotment

Candidates who were not allotted a seat in Special Round 1 or are eligible to participate in the next round can register for UPTAC Special Round 2.

The Special Round 2 registration will remain open from August 19 to 23, 2026, followed by choice filling from August 23 to 26, 2026.

AKTU will release the UPTAC Special Round 2 seat allotment result on August 27, 2026. The Round 7 cutoff or closing ranks will be available after the allotment and will help candidates check the final admission ranks for participating colleges and programmes.

Action Plan for Candidates

1. Log in to uptac.samarth.edu.in and check the Special Round 1 allotment result.
2. Download the provisional seat allotment letter from the candidate dashboard.
3. Verify the allotted institute, programme and category on the cutoff matrix.
4. Arrange all original documents and photocopies needed for verification.
5. Report physically at the allotted institute between August 19 and 21, 2026.
6. If unallotted or unsatisfied, register for Special Round 2 from August 19, 2026.
