The West Bengal Board of Primary Education has released the list of institutes taking part in D.EL.Ed course admissions on November 11. Candidates can check the merit list online via the website of the relevant institute.
The approved merit list is prepared after proper dissection of applications received and the final merit list has already been sent to the concerned institutes. Only applicants who appear in the merit list will be eligible to secure their admissions in the two-year diploma of Elementary Education, D.EL.Ed.

- Input your registration number and password

WB D.EL.ED 2020: How is the Merit List Prepared
The preparation of the merit list is a rather complex process. It is made through the following steps.
- The WBBPE forwards the application forms to the relevant institute
- Then, the institute checks the documents for authenticity and takes the aggregate of 5 main subjects excluding the electives
- Then, the head of the institutions send the verified applications to the login of the board and also mention any objections regarding an application
- After that, the merit list is approved by the board who forward it to the login of the institute

WB D.El.ED 2020: Document Verification
After the merit list is released, selected candidates will need to report to the allotted institutes to verify their documents and secure admissions. For that purpose, they need to carry the following documents in original along with a number of photocopies.
- Marksheet of HighSchool or its equivalent
- Caste certificate if applicable
- Birth certificate
- Marksheet of class 10
- Domicile certificate
- Payment receipt
- Registration number & slip
- Proof of belongingness for ex-servicemen if applicable
