The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the JELET 2026 Round 2 seat allotment result on September 15, 2026. Candidates who participated in Round 2 choice filling can check their allotment status through the official portal at wbjeeb.nic.in/jelet.
Candidates must log in using their application number and password. Those who receive a fresh allotment must pay the ₹5,000 seat acceptance fee and report to the allotted institute for document verification and admission between September 15 and September 17, 2026.
Failure to complete the required formalities within the deadline may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

The seat acceptance fee is ₹5,000 and is non-refundable. Candidates can pay the fee through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.

- Log in using the application number and password.
- Check the allotted institute, course, branch and seat category.
- Download the allotment letter and save a copy for future reference.

How to Complete Fee Payment and Institute Reporting?
Candidates receiving a fresh allotment must pay the ₹5,000 seat acceptance fee within the prescribed deadline. The payment must be completed online through the available payment modes.
After fee payment, candidates must report to the allotted institute for document verification and admission formalities. Candidates should contact the institute or visit its official website to confirm the reporting time and document requirements.

What Happens to Candidates Who Opted for Upgradation?
Candidates who accepted their Round 1 seat with the “Yes-Upgradation” option were considered for Round 2 allotment. If they receive a better seat, their Round 1 allotment will be released, and the upgraded seat will become their final allotment.
Candidates who selected “No-Upgradation” will retain their Round 1 seat and will not be considered for the Round 2 allotment. Their admission to the Round 1 institute will remain valid.
JELET offers direct lateral entry into the second year of B.Tech, B.E., and B.Pharm programmes. This saves one full academic year for diploma holders and B.Sc. graduates. Round 2 is often the final large intake before the Mop-Up round in West Bengal.
