WBJEEB has released the WBJEE 2026 seat matrix on wbjeeb.nic.in. The list covers all participating institutes for B.Tech, B.Pharma and B.Arch. Round 1 choice filling closes on July 5 with seat allotment on July 7.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) released the seat matrix. This covers the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2026 counselling. Candidates can view the matrix on admissions.nic.in/wbjeeb.
The document maps every institute joining WBJEE counselling this year. Streams include B.E/B.Tech, B.Pharma and B.Arch programmes. The release comes just days before Round 1 seat allotment.
What Does the WBJEE 2026 Seat Matrix Contain?
The matrix lists every institute joining WBJEE counselling in 2026. It maps courses and branches available at each participating college. Category-wise seat splits are shown for every programme.
The published matrix breaks seats across the following reservation categories:
- Unreserved (UR) or general category seats
- Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) seats
- OBC-A and OBC-B seats under West Bengal norms
- Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) seats
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD) seats
- Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) seats
The matrix also separates JEE Main quota seats from WBJEE seats. This split applies to select engineering programmes in West Bengal.

Institutes fall into three broad categories on the portal. These are private colleges, state government colleges and state universities. Government engineering colleges such as Jalpaiguri and Cooch Behar feature strongly.
The matrix also shows seats in newer specialisations. These include Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security and Robotics. Core branches like Computer Science, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical remain dominant.
