WBJEE 2026 Counselling Rounds
The board will conduct three rounds for seat allotment. The first is the Allotment round, where seats are assigned based on rank and choice. The second is the Upgradation round, in which allotted candidates may move to a higher preference.
The third is the Mop-Up round, held only if seats remain vacant. Fresh registrations and new choice filling are not allowed during the Upgradation round. The board may invite fresh candidates during the Mop-Up stage if required.
