It all depends on what your goals are. If you want to acquire a degree, then choosing DAV College is fine. The college does not care about attendance and you can easily complete the program even if you miss classes for a month. However, a heavy fine will be charged for the same.
If you want to learn new things and looking for great opportunities in BCA, then look for some other option. The faculty is good but they are not experienced in the area properly and this can be a setback.
Go for BCA only if you are interested in programming and computer applications, otherwise, you will regret this decision.
A friend of mine worked with a PSU for some time and then appeared for the GATE exam and joined NITIE PGDIE. Leaving the PSU and choosing something else is a personal decision. It depends on your perspective.
In your case, joining after 7 years seems like a long-term plan. You can end up not joining any course after 7 years. So, make sure why you want to join a course after seven years, is it for the degree or salary hike.
If you are going for it for the degree then it can be done by joining any institute. There’s no need to join NITIE specifically. If you are doing it for the salary hike then too, you can join any institute. There is no differentiation based on which institute you are from, in PSUs. All the students having a Master’s degree are treated equally. Then there are options for joining private institutions such as NITIE which is a good option too.
No, CSAM at IIIT Delhi is definitely not worth it. Here is a detailed review of the program as shared by a friend
All in all, the CSAM branch of IIIT Delhi isn't a good choice if you are primarily interested in placements. It is futile to study such high-level Math if only your knowledge of Data Structures, OS, DBMS, etc. will be considered during placements. CSAM should be considered only if you are interested in research in applied math.
NIT Rourkela is better than NIT Surat and NIT Jaipur. They have the best department, especially in mechanical Engineering. This institute offers quality education, guarantees 100% placement support, has well-qualified and experienced scholars, a rich alumni network, and a good infrastructure. In addition, they have an impressive course curriculum that touches all spheres of the field. Rourkela is one of the most flourishing industrial cities, which helps to widen your horizons.
So you can choose NIT Rourkela without any hesitation.
I am yet to understand the blind passion people possess for the CSE branch including those who have no interest in the field whatsoever. Even if you have a passion for CSE, the NIT Rourkela is certainly not the right place to bring out your abilities in this field. The placements, undoubtedly, are excellent at par with some new IITs. bit NIT Rourkela lacks in other major aspects such as
Irrespective of the branch you go for between CSE and ECE, you will witness similar job opportunities and success rates. Most students get placed in huge firms like Amazon, Microsoft, and Samsung. So, choosing the right branch in your case depends on your personal preference and interests.
The placements for the Applied Mechanics Engineering branch at IIT Delhi are pretty good and most students opt for this branch given the excellent placement scenario. The core placement percentage is around 75% which is outstanding considering most branch students have to opt for non-core placements. core companies. The key is to maintain a good CG throughout and prepare well for placements.

It is not necessary to be confined within the walls of your department lab as a Ph.D. student. Some choose the relaxed way and enjoy their campus life to the fullest as well.
