As by then you would have attended 9-10 classes in Heritage Institute of Technology, the institute will calculate that and hence deduct about 10-15% of the total fees. And the remaining amount will be refunded by the authority. But, it is important to know that this process is a little time-consuming. The authorities will take about 10-15 days to complete the refund process.
One of my friends got admission to IEM Kolkata and after getting Kalyani in Spot round, he left IEM. He had gone through the whole refund process. The fee he paid was about INR 80 Thousand. He got a refund of about INR 69 Thousand. So, there is no such risk. You will surely get your fee refunded if you choose to leave this college.

Overall, the PESU South Campus benefits from being a part of the PES group. It holds an advantage over MVJCE Bangalore in multiple areas. For example, PESU south campus has better infrastructure and placements. However, it is way more stricter than MVJCE.
If the strictness part won’t bother you, I would recommend you choose PESU south campus for your higher studies.
