Is IIT Mandi or Bits Pilani better for studying Computer Science?
BITS Pilani is better for studying Computer Science. It is an old and reputed technological institute with an excellent placement record. BITS Pilani placements 2022 witnessed the highest CTC of INR 1.33 CPA. The average CTC stood around INR 28.99 LPA.
Due to the no reservation policy, the student crowd of the institute is excellent. You will share your classrooms with talented people. BITS has a thriving research culture. From the 2nd year onwards, you can take part in study projects/computer projects/lab-oriented projects. Also, the compulsory internships can be a great value add to your resume.
Is it good to pursue an M.tech. in energy engineering at NIT Trichy?
If you are a mechanical engineer, pursuing an M.Tech in Energy at NIT Trichy would be an excellent choice for you. The program is well-designed and provides in-depth knowledge about energy systems and sustainability. The course curriculum is mostly based on mechanical engineering principles, which makes it easier for mechanical engineers to understand and excel in the program.
NIT Trichy M.Tech Energy placements are also good, with reputed companies visiting the campus for recruitment. As a mechanical engineer, you will have many opportunities to sit in various company placements and internships, which may lead to a job offer.
However, if you are an electrical engineer, you may face some challenges during the course as it is mostly based on mechanical engineering principles. This may affect your understanding of the subject and affect your performance in the program. Additionally, for placements, companies may not prefer an energy engineer with an electrical engineering background.

Comparably IISER Pune has a better location. So, students receive better employment opportunities.

With 60,000 rank in mains, which NIT can be expected?
Given your rank, and presumably your General Category, it is almost impossible to get into an NIT. In case you don’t have a proper NIT in your home state, go for IITs instead.
If you are however adamant about opting for an NIT only you will have to go for Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering as your specialization. Under these, you still have chances of making it into mediocre NITs like NIT Surat, NIT Calicut and Jaipur. If you want to go for Electrical, you can choose a below-average NIT if you are okay with it.

How do I prepare for the JIPMER MBBS exam What books should I have?
After doing some research online, I got to know about a lot of books that could be useful to you. The Books and strategies to be followed for the JIPMER MBBS exam are as follows: -
- Physics: - Preparing for the NEET exam will give you a clear idea to crack the Physics section in JIPMER. Try to calculate fast but accurately.
- Chemistry: - NCERT is enough for Chemistry in any medical exam. Go through the theories and the special cases and memorize them. Also, go through last year papers
- Biology: - This also can be done by NCERT alone however solving questions frequently will help you retain the theory part quickly and accurately. Around 40-50 questions are generally asked from the NCERT textbook.
- English: - For English ‘Wren & Martin’ would be more than enough. It has covered all the important portions accurately in a precise manner.
- Logical Reasoning: - For this visit any website and solve at least 10 questions enough of easy level. Logical questions are not that hard and can be solved then and there without any practice.
If you diligently follow these books and revise them enough, you are then good to go for the exam. Learn your strengths and weaknesses among all the topics, prioritize them and prepare accordingly.
How do I prepare for NITIE interview for PGDIE?
One of my friends recently got admission to NITIE. According to him, you should expect the following in the interview round.
GD –
- The panel will consist of 3 persons (professors/ alums) and a group of 8 to 10 students will discuss any one topic. Topics will be related to generic or related to current issues.
- GD timings are set to 1 min initial time, 10 min discussion, 1 min conclusion/ summary.
- You can do 3 entries for 30 seconds each.
- GD marks are given 60% based on communication skills, 20% group coordination, 20% knowledge.
- GD plays a crucial role in someone's selection. So, try to summarize the GD.
- In spite of giving only suggestions, put some facts and then discuss what you believe.
PI -
- The interview may take place for 5- 20 mins, depending on the number of candidates in that slot.
- Prepare a 1-minute introduction including your hometown, family background, your branch, college, final year project, summer internship, your hobbies, and achievements.
- Also prepare for technical questions (industrial engineering, thermodynamics) or subjects related to your final year project or internship.
- There will also be some HR questions like why NITIE, your strengths, and weaknesses.
- They will judge you based on your communication skills, and your interest in NITIE.
- Invest enough time while filling the application form as it will be a CV for the process.
Last but not the least, be confident and cooperative with the panel.
How do I prepare for BHU UET Bsc Maths (hons)?
To score well in BHU UET, you need to have your basics clear. Go through all the chapters in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics from NCERT books and your textbooks at least once.
- Go through the previous year’s questions from the BHU website. You will get to know the question trends and also get an idea of the chapters to focus on. They often repeat questions.
- The questions are not that hard. You can easily attempt 10% of the questions. 60% of the questions require fundamental knowledge of the subjects. Only around 30% of the questions will be difficult to solve. But you don’t need to worry about the 30% difficult question. You can easily score enough marks from the rest of the paper.
- Time management is crucial during the examination. The allotted time is 150 min. Which can seem short, if you don’t plan accordingly. First, you should attempt Chemistry questions. These are easy to solve and require less time. Then you can move on to Physics and Mathematics. Don’t stress too much on the questions that you don’t know the answer to. Try to score at least 120 out of 150 in the Chemistry section.
- Your focus on class 11 and 12th syllabus should be 40/60.
The required cutoff for the general candidates is around 190-200. So, try to score 240 to get your preferred combination.
