What is the 75 % attendance rule at Sharda University and how is this attendance calculated?
In Sharda university, the minimum attendance norm is 75% for all students. You need to fulfill it in order to be eligible for the final examination. Attendance is taken through a mobile application known as v-attendance.
- If you fail to maintain the desired attendance you may have to face various consequences. Maybe you have to pay a fine or you can also get debarred.
- If you don't meet the subject-wise requirement of attendance in 1 or 2 subjects due to some emergency, you can request the department for the admit card and be able to appear in the exam.
- Attendance is calculated by the total number of hours, i.e. the number of classes you attend which divides by the total number of classes. For e.g. if the total number of classes you attend is 100 and you will be safe until you miss an estimate of 24 one-hour classes.
Maintaining 75% is a must for the average student because it can affect your internals because many of the teachers do look at your attendance.

JSS Academy has a better student environment, facilities, and placement record, making it a better option than Galgotia College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida.

Is the institute of innovation in technology and management Janakpuri any good?
One of my cousins is studying at the Institute of Innovation in Technology and Management and after reading some reviews online, I can share some facts about it.
- IITM is a good institute but it is very strict and disciplined, almost like a school.
- My cousin’s overall experience of college was good. He mentioned the well-built infrastructure and how everything from the classrooms to the laboratories is well maintained.
- They have a highly qualified faculty.
- There is no playground in this college, which could disappoint some students.
- The placements here are really good, which is one of the important things to note down while considering the college for admission.
- On the IITM campus there are two buildings IINTM and IITM.

The college is good but there is no such a big facility for sports. Although the team is selected to play the game at IP University Main campus and auditions take place in the Hari Nagar complex.
How good is hostel life at NIET?
Here are some of the information from an ex-student of NIET and a good friend of mine about the girl’s hostel.
- The wifi facility is available, however, most of the sites are blocked and students use VPN to use them.
- The food served initially is good but over time, the quality degrades. The mess committee guarantees quality and change of menus in starting year but you won’t get to see any change.
- Lift is also available but it never works. It is always under maintenance. The student of the first year gets 4th floor and they have to struggle a lot due to this.
- The security management of the hostel is quite good.
- The rooms in the girls’ hostel are of two types- three and four-seater. The first-year students are placed on the 4th floor in four-seater rooms and rest in 1st. 2nd, and 3rd in three-seater.
- There is no Gym facility for girls in the hostel. There is one on the second campus, you will have to go by NIET Bus.
- You are not allowed to be in your room during college hours. As there won’t be any electricity.
- The students are allowed to stay out till 7 pm. And for a night out, you will have to take permission from the chief warden who will first ask from parents and then allow.
Overall the hostel experience will be average. You can opt for the college hostel in first year to make some friends, and move out later in 2nd year.
Is it a good option to do an MCH in neurosurgery at NIMHANS?
Yes, an MCH in Neurosurgery at NIMHANS is certainly an excellent choice. Here are some strong points in favor of my opinion
- By choosing this course, you will be able to complete your course in 5 years, unlike CMC or AIIMS where it will take 6 years.
- NIMHANS is a Neuro-centric institute so you will be better exposed to the different aspects of the nervous system.
- The patient load is heavy and the OPD witnesses diverse cases every day.
- NIMHANS is also the best choice for research enthusiasts because it’s a research institute, so offers excellent resources for the same.
- Bangalore has a more pleasant climate in contrast to Delhi and Vellore.
So, go for it without any second thoughts.

You cannot doubt the hospitality of the city and locals of Jodhpur. It’s very safe for students and the people here are very friendly. AIIMS Jodhpur in itself is a very safe place to be in. Guarded 24/7 by the security guards, the AIIMS Jaipur campus is safe and secure. The UG hostels have strict rules to ensure student safety. The deadline for returning to hostels is 10.30 P.M. Opposite genders cannot visit each other's hostels.

Which course in TAPMI is better, the core PGDM, the HRM, or BKFS?
What's most important is that you enjoy it. The BKFS program is highly specialized and designed to equip students with the tools necessary to succeed in any financial-related field.
The PGDM's first year emphasizes variety over specialization. Two years into the program, you'll have the option to focus on either Marketing, Operations, or Finance. It's up to you to determine the kind of career you want to have. Everything in the new system will be up to the individual, replacing both the major and minor systems. Although the HR course is brand new, it will be just as rigorous and cover the same ground as other courses.
Which college should I prefer for Finance: XIMB BM, IMT G or IMI Delhi?
In choosing your B-school, the primary factors that you should consider are, the specialization you want to opt for and the ROI you are expecting. In your case, you want to go for Finance. The list of preferred B Schools you mentioned has similar fees and placements so I will be answering solely based on specialization.
Finance: IMI Delhi is the best choice of all the options when it comes to Finance. A premium quality crowd opts for Finance at IMI Delhi and the main reason is the customized MBA program in Finance. Many companies of the Finance sector visit the campus for placements. Finance students also avail the best opportunities and guidance and have a higher level of security than Marketing students.
However, in case you have more than 2-3 years of work experience, IMI Delhi is not a suitable option. Although you may stand out among your batchmates, the companies visiting the campus are not aware of this and offer roles suitable for less experienced students only. So your work experience may not be credited here.
The general preference order should be: IMI D>XIMB>IMT G
Why is IIM Ranchi considered the best among all the new IIMs?

In fact all the new IIMs are developing and in a decade or two they might be at level with Kozhikode or Lucknow if not A B or C.
Now what sets IIM Ranchi apart from the other new IIMS is its HRM degree in addition to a PGP degree. This tactic has helped Ranchi gain alumni in the HR sector. These alumni prefer their own institutes for placements. Many other B Schools like XLRI and MDI have implemented this strategy to climb the ladder quicker than others.
Generally, IIM Trichy, IIM Udaipur, and IIM Ranchi are of the same level but this strategy has somewhat differentiated Ranchi from the newer IIMs.

College Events: The college hosts its annual events at grand hotels in the city. Some major events include Radix – the Business Conclave and TEDxIIMRanchi.
Location: Located within the city, almost every faculty can be availed easily. Be it groceries or footwear everything is available at a quick distance from the campus. You can even run to a nearby cafe and give your taste buds a change of food between breaks and then come back for classes. The distance between the hostel and the campus is a 30-minute bus ride.
Travel: IIM Ranchi is the best for people who want to explore nature and relax after a week of tight schedules. The beautiful dams and waterfalls are picturesque and will take away all the stress. Bus facilities are available during weekends so that students can travel to the central area for shopping or other errands.
Khelgaon Community hall: The students of IIM Ranchi can access this hall for weekend get-togethers and college events like Batch Parties.
So without a permanent campus, IIM Ranchi does have its demerits, yet if you are diligent you can create many amazing memories even without it.
