What is the expected ROI from IIM-Lucknow, other than networking and brand?
Don’t let people mislead you into believing that ROU is just a materialistic element and does not have much value. Once you are out of B-school you just want to have a financially stable life. The fees you have invested are much more than just fees. It is the skills, time, and foregone salaries of 2 years.
The jobs you land out of a B School are based on your past performance, especially during summer placements. In fact, many high-paying jobs in the B-school placement reports are Summer Internship PPOs.
IIM Lucknow is an outstanding institute considering the ROI aspect. Don’t let yourself into the delusion that MBA is for learning and not for money. If that were the case you would be better off doing a Ph.D. rather than a job.
Is it too late to join NITIE PGDIE at the age of 27?
No, 27 isn’t too late to join NITIE. Usually, NITIE PGDIE batch profiles include people with ages 22-30. You won’t be treated any differently by the faculty or recruiters because of your age.
NITIE placement trends show that experienced students usually have a better chance at Ecommerce, Finance, Manufacturing, and Consulting companies. Naturally, there are exceptions.
If I do my graduation from IGNOU, will there be any difference in chances of getting admission to IIM Ahmedabad?
An undergraduate degree from IGNOU is acceptable for taking the CAT and getting into an IIM.
An IGNOU degree in no way means that you can not try for the IIMs. But whether an IGNOU degree will lower your chances or not, is solely known upon the interviewers.
Your chances of getting selected largely depend on your overall profile. One of my seniors at IIM Ahmedabad had completed his UG from IGNOU. His overall profile was really impressive, and he also possessed work experience of 2 years as a CA. Thus, he was selected for IIMA.
Make sure to maintain an impressive academic profile, and score well in your CAT exam. If you do so, an IGNOU degree most likely won’t hinder your selection into IIM Ahmedabad.
Should I join DoMS NIT Trichy?
The course of DoMS is decent. But the question of whether to join this or not requires the student's information in detail.

The college has various internal politics going on between the students and among the teachers. This affects the college in various ways. The course and college, in general, are better considering the fees.
Is Shanti Business School in Ahmedabad a reputed institute?
In Ahmedabad, Shanti Business School is among the reputed B-Schools. It has an excellent management faculty. SBS has a record 100% placement rate. The salary packages offered are in the range of INR 6 LPA - INR 16 LPA. Many major brands such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HUL, etc. take part in SBS placements.

IIIT Lucknow has shifted permanently to its fresh campus on the outskirts of the city in the 2019 batch and the students are immensely delighted to be spending their time on campus with all the necessary amenities and facilities onboard. IIIT Lucknow was mentored by IIIT Allahabad since its inception in 2015.
It is one of the top nationally recognized engineering institutes in the state. The new campus location is quite a fancy one and is very peaceful too.
Don’t worry about the placements as they will not be affected in any way after shifting from Allahabad to Lucknow. If anything, it is going to have a positive impact on the recruitment procedures since the top MNCs and recruiting firms are pretty happy and impressed with the top-class facilities and technological advancements at IIIT Lucknow campus. They make sure to offer the students ample practical exposure along with bookish knowledge while their stay on campus to make them ready for the industry.
At the time of campus placement of MCA at NIT Trichy, are companies checked in the 12th percentage also?
It's the case not just at NITT, but everywhere. It entirely depends on the visiting firm and whether they value your school percentages.
The placement cell will have all of your information entered into their placement portal, and they will be aware of everything, so if you give the firm an erroneous résumé, whether intentionally or unintentionally, they will be notified. Because there are so many students, your college will try to set minimum eligibility standards for them by requesting or something similar.

But the placement cell can request them to ease the criteria if students have low scores. It now hinges on the company's reputation. It is applicable to every institute.

Which is the better engineering college, Sahyadri or St. Joseph?

What is the CAT cutoff for LBSIM?
PGDM admission via LBSIM CAT cutoff would be around 88+ or more. You can apply for this course in the months of September to December.
A good score in CAT or GMAT score and accordingly you could be shortlisted for the group discussion and personal interview rounds. Your admission is provided on the basis of a merit list that takes into account your GMAT or CAT score and your entire profile as a candidate.

Most of the cutoffs are expected to be between 85 and 90 for PGDM admissions in 2019-2021. As far as last year’s cutoff was concerned, it was around 80 for the year 2020.
