Is Shoolini University is Great Place to Study B.Tech?
My cousin did his B.Tech from Shoolini University. Here are his insights.
- They mainly focus on these few branches - MBA, B.Com, BIOTECH.
- The management system is not good at all and you will see an increase in certain charges every semester.
- Regarding the faculty, the aforementioned branches have the best faculty in the university, and in other remaining branches don’t have that good faculty.
- The labs don’t have adequate equipment. University has old technique machines and also not have some major lab that some engineer is looking for like material science lab for a mechanical engineer.
- The students face so many problems for placement and internship programs. Only 40% of students are placed, that's not even half.
- The fees are very expensive as compared to the level of facilities they provide and in comparison to other universities /colleges in the same category.
Therefore, if you are looking for a good college for pursuing B.Tech, Shoolini University might not be a great choice. Apart from focused branches, cleanliness, natural environment, and friendly peers, there is not much to mention about the institute.
Is the infrastucture of BITs Pilani, Pilani worst?
BITS Pilani has an overall ranking of 30 by NIRF organization in 2020. As far as I know from one of my friends studying there, BITS Pilani has quite a good Infrastructure and supports the best facilities.
- Compared to other BITS Pilani’s campuses, the chances are there that Pilani campus hostel rooms are not that great. But they are definitely better than those of many private / Govt. colleges.
- Pilani campus does provide single room assistance to students from 2nd year and some of 1st-year students.
- They have State of the Art infrastructure, fully air-conditioned classrooms, westernized washrooms, and nothing worth complaining about.
- The library is one of the best, as it is beautifully organized.
BITS Pilani campus is growing and developing each day, so it can offer the best to their students. Though everything else concerned it has a better infrastructure than a lot of colleges around that area.
What is the reputation of BITS Goa when compared with other colleges in South India like NIT Trichy, NIT K , VIT, SRM, RVCE and BMSCE?
As some of my friends had studied in BITS Goa, I can say that it is much better than the colleges mentioned above. Let me share some details about the college that makes it stand out among others.
- The infrastructure, facilities, faculties, and culture you get to experience are on another level.
- BITS Goa gives promising students.
- BITS Goa is a much superior college than the others.
- The only college that comes at par with BITS is NIT Trichy.
- People usually tend to think that Goa will not be a suitable place for education. This is the social stigma you have to overcome.
- Even being a holiday destination, BITS Goa’s students' hard work and dedication have made it more popular as an educational institution.

If you are comparing BITS Goa with NIT Trichy and NIT K then these NITs are better than or very much equal to BITS Goa. As far as academics are concerned NIT Trichy is way ahead. The only thing that students face problems with is the fees at BITS Goa. Otherwise, I would suggest that you can get a better brand value of BITS Goa, which is higher than NITs.
Which university is better for BBA Calcutta University or Amity University Kolkata?
Even though Calcutta University is one of the oldest and most-renowned Indian universities, it has a very strict marking system.
Though Amity University is new and does not have the history that Calcutta University does, if you work hard you can score good marks in your BBA and get admission to a prestigious university for your MBA.
Amity’s environment can be a bit distracting at times, however, it is upon the students to maintain a good academic score.
In terms of placements, Calcutta University’s brand will hold importance and even the recruiters are aware that 55-60% is the score of the top students at Calcutta University. On the other hand, Calcutta University’s marking scheme can also cause problems during placements because regardless of the reputation of an institution, if the students do not score more than 50%, some companies will simply not allow them to sit for the placements.
Other factors that can guide your decision are - Ease of travel/Distance from home, Fee vs Potential, and the reason for pursuing the particular course, among others.
Amity is on the costlier side, but the faculties at both are equally good.
Both the institutes are a good choice, however, Amity University is more beneficial considering all the factors.
How is civil engineering at NIT Kurukshetra?
Civil Engineering at NIT Kurukshetra is a core branch that deals with the design and construction sector. It’s very important to focus on one specific field at an engineering college or you will go astray by the end of 4 years. This branch is very focused and helps you invest all your efforts in one field
- Faculty: The faculty of the Civil Engineering Department of NIT Kurukshetra is highly learned, and supportive and promotes active research work.
- Culture: The Civil Engineering department has a decent culture and bonding among the peers. The branch offers many opportunities for personality development and helps you shape your future.
- Ranking: NIT Kurukshetra enjoys a good ranking in the North. Overall, NIRF ranked it 58 out of 200 this year.
- Placement: Civil Engineering students usually get placed in the government sectors. The placement scenario has witnessed a slight improvement over the past few years. Here is the record from this year

What is the online process for a transcript from Madurai Kamaraj University for WES ECA?
There is no online process for obtaining a transcript from MKU. To obtain it, you must personally visit the university. Transcripts can only be obtained after multiple visits.
There is a company called IndianTranscripts. The team is extremely helpful in obtaining our transcript from MKU. You can receive your transcript on time with their help. You can contact the company, as their fees are very reasonable.
How is Chemical branch at NIT Calicut?
NIT Calicut offers a decent Chemical Engineering program. It offers decent academics and placement. According to the recent placement highlights, students of Chemical Engineering receive an average CTC of around INR 9 LPA. The highest CTC offered goes up to INR 21 LPA. Although very few core companies from Chemical Engineering visit NIT Calicut placements.
How safe are the IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur campuses for female students?
Both IIT Roorkee and IIT KGP have top-notch security on campus, and they are extremely safe for female students. So, you can rest all your worries. Infact, the security standards are pretty good considering the fact that these are government institutions.
Here are the security features of IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur-
- There is a police station inside campus.
- 24/7 security guards are on standby.
- Some labs have biometric door locking systems, enabling you to work late at night.
- Even late at night, you can see people roaming freely.
The girl’s hostel in IIT Kharagpur is situated at the best possible location in terms of both, the safety of the students and the availability of resources like the library, eateries, and even some departmental buildings.
Overall, the security is really good in both of these IITs for girl students. However, their campuses have many dogs and other animals, which might scare some people. These stray animals are usually harmless until you provoke them.

- Make your classes your first priority.
- Try to secure perfect attendance in all your classes.
- Complete all your assignments and submissions before the deadline.
- Study twice as hard.
- Your professor is your advocate. Do not let yourself get intimidated by your professor.
- Try actively participating in at least one organized extracurricular activity.
- Make a habit of taking running notes.
- Take an active approach in your class. This will enhance your leadership skills.
