Is Vignan better than VVIT?
Vignan University, by all means, is better than VVIT. Here are some of the reasons why.
- The faculty of the institute is cooperative. There are also upgraded lab amenities and research facilities.
- The hostels are well maintained with the provision of hygienic food facilities.
- The library, generally called Dr. Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao Library, has good collections of significant books.
- The campus has good sports facilities. The admin blocks are well kept, with centralized air conditioning and upgraded lab facilities.
- The main cultural event, called Mahotsav, is conducted every year. Besides, there are other events organized usually once every 2 to 3 months.
- The college timings extend from 8 A.M to 3.30 P.M for B.Tech students. The timings, however, are different in the case of MBA and M.Tech students.
- You need to keep 75% attendance. However, it can drop to 65% in case of medical emergencies. But, if it declines less than 65%, you can face detainment.
- The placements of the institute are good for the CSE or IT streams and Management courses. Students receive an average CTC of 3.5 LPA. You can join NCC, NSS, SAC, and the Entrepreneurial Cell.
- The infrastructure of the institute is quite good. There are wifi facilities, seminar halls with upgraded technologies.
Hence, Vignan is definitely several steps ahead of VVIT.
Which one is good for a B.Tech, CGC Landran or CGC Jhanjeri?
Choose CGC Landran, if you are getting your proffered branch. It is the main campus. Other than this fact, there are no such differences between the two campuses. Academics, faculty, and facilities offered are almost similar in both. CGC Landran placements are the same as CGC Jhanjeri. As students sit for the same placements dive.
Which branch is better to join, CSE at IIT Indore or MNC (mathematics and computing) at IIT Guwahati?
My brother was in a similar dilemma last year when he had to choose between MnC IIT Guwahati and CSE IIT Indore. Eventually, he went for IIT Indore CSE. The main reason he decided against going for the MnC program was his lack of interest in Math. And when we talk about Math at IIT, trust me when I say it’s at another level. It’s purely proof-based and high-level Math that can be handled only by true Math lovers. The academic workload is also high with 60% Math and 40% CS courses.
Now, here are a few points that might convince you to join IIT Indore instead
- IIT Indore qualified for ACM-ICPC World Finals thrice. This in itself is quite an achievement considering this event's importance.
- As per HackerRank, IIT Indore is said to have the best coders in the whole country. Additionally, it’s at the 8th position globally for the best coders
- IIT Indore has an extensive alumni base who completed their Master's from top foreign universities like Stanford, Caltech, University of Columbia. Many talented alumni also increase the credibility of the institute by working at reputed firms like Google and Facebook.
- This year, the CS department recorded 100% placements with the highest and average packages standing at INR 48.5 LPA and INR 30.32 LPA respectively.
Overall, IIT Indore CSE is a much better choice than MnC IIT Guwahati considering the work of and job opportunities.
Is there a difference between RGTU and RGPV?
No, there is no difference between RGTU and RGPV.
RGPV stands for Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. Almost all the private engineering colleges in the state of Madhya Pradesh are affiliated to this technical university.
RGTU stands for Rajiv Gandhi Technical University which is simply the English translation for RGPV.
There is however one college about which students get confused a lot. It is UIT or University Institute of Technology. It is an autonomous govt engineering college located inside the premises of the RGPV campus. The syllabus for UIT is the same as other RGPV colleges. The only difference is that their exams and results are announced by UIT itself.
What is your review of Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, Haryana, India (CDLU)?
My brother recently graduated from Chaudhary Devi Lal University. Here is his review in brief.
- The overall infrastructure of the university is average at best. The library and auditorium facilities are quite good.
- The faculties are well experienced. Some of the faculties are exceptionally good.
- You will get basic amenities on campus. There is also a shopping complex inside the university campus.
Although CDLU ranks below many of the universities in Haryana such as KUK, GJU, etc, it is a decent option to pursue UG courses.

Where should I go for pursuing MBBS PGIMS Rohtak or NDMC Delhi Hindu Rao Hospital?
If you are a medical student looking to pursue a postgraduate degree, it's important to consider your options carefully. One option you may have heard of is the PGI Rohtak, which is a well-known medical institution. However, there is another option that you should strongly consider: Hindu Rao Hospital in Delhi.
Here are some reasons why you should choose Hindu Rao over PGI Rohtak:
- Hindu Rao Hospital has reserved seats for postgraduate degree programs, which means that you are more likely to get a spot in your desired program.
- By staying in Delhi, you will have access to a large and competitive healthcare market. This will help you acquire skills that even students from reputed institutions like KGMC, Stanley Medical College, and Madras Medical College may not have.
- Delhi is the capital of India and has a thriving medical community. You will have opportunities to attend conferences, workshops, and other events that can help you stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and techniques.
- Living in Delhi will also expose you to a diverse range of patients, which will help you develop your clinical skills and empathy.
- Finally, staying in Delhi will allow you to stay close to your family and friends, which can be an important source of support during the stressful period of medical school.
In summary, while PGI Rohtak is certainly a reputable institution, Hindu Rao Hospital in Delhi offers many advantages that you should consider. By choosing to study in Delhi, you can acquire skills and experiences that will help you stand out in the competitive medical market.
Where should I go for pursuing MBBS PGIMS, Rohtak or NDMC Delhi (Hindu Rao Hospital) ?
Go for PGIMS Rohtak and dont even think twice. PGIMS Rohtak is one of the oldest and most reputed colleges in North India. It has some of the most learned and experienced faculty members many of whom are best-selling authors of medical textbooks.
NDMC is just an ordinary medical college not anywhere near the standards of PGIMS Rohtak. It's associated with the Hindurao Hospital which is quite well known in Delhi. However, the medical faculty and the standard of medical training are rumored to be substandard. Moreover, the MCI has canceled the Recognition of NDMC quite a few times already. So, I will not suggest you take the risk of joining this college just because it's located in Delhi.
Choose PGIMS Rohtak to stay on the safe side.
