Which college is better for an MBA, ITS Ghaziabad or IMS Ghaziabad?
When it comes to choosing between IMS Ghaziabad and ITS Ghaziabad for an MBA program, there are several factors that you should consider. Here are some of the aspects you should look at to make an informed decision:
- Placement record: IMS Ghaziabad has a good placement record with many reputed companies visiting the campus for placements. ITS Ghaziabad, on the other hand, may not have as good a placement record as IMS Ghaziabad.

Which is better? IIIT Guwahati or IIIT Lucknow?
Having friends in both the colleges, I might be able to share a bit of information about both of them. Though my major focus will be on IIIT Guwahati, because being a student there, I had my fair share of experiences.
Nevertheless, let us discuss some of the facts -
- The atmosphere is quite relaxing.
- The distance is quite far from the main city, which is about 25 kilometers. But in terms of the campus distance from the airport, it is a fine 4 kilometers.
- The population comprises people from UP, Hyderabad, and Bihar. If you are from the North, you would notice this.
- The coding culture is great, in my opinion. Much better than what the latest IIITs have to offer.
- The director of the college has the potential to lift it to the best position in the country.
- Even though the campus is placed at quite a distance from the main city, you won't be short of any facilities.
- The hostel rooms are nice, if you are lucky, you might get a room with a washroom attached to it.
- The overall curriculum is excellent.
- Cricket and football fields are also available.

As far as IIIT Lucknow is concerned, I might not have too much to talk about. But then you can always make a comparison based on what you are looking for in a college which can be literally anything. Maybe try to put your question a little more precisely so that we can answer them accordingly.
Which one is better, JMIT Radaur or UIET MDU Rohtak?
You should choose JMIT Radaur as it is affiliated with Kurukshetra University. It is located in the safe outskirts of Yamunagar.
In terms of academics, students at JMIT Radaur study solely to pass the examinations and faculty members do not offer any practical knowledge. You can, however, conduct your research and paperwork on a variety of subjects. It's entirely up to you how much you can gain.
If you have friends, this institute can be the perfect place to hang out, be it in the cafeteria, or the love points. The best thing about the hostels of JMIT Radaur is that you would have a 24-hour power supply, filtered water, a geyser, and wonderful clean rooms if you want to enjoy your life. The warden and management do not interfere much. The meals served at the mess of the hostels are delicious.
JMIT is located in a remote location where you will miss McDonald's, Domino's, KFC, PVR, and other fast-food restaurants. In terms of placements, it is much better than any other college in Haryana. TCS visits the campus every year to recruit students but doesn’t offer a lot of job roles.
Is doing MA from IIT Madras worth it?
MA from IIT Madras is a good course for Humanity students. The course was introduced with the aim of catering to the manpower requirements in academics. If you want a career in academics, this course will be ideal for you. IIT Madras MA placements 2022 have been good. Students received an average CTC of INR 13.98 LPA. While the highest CTC was INR 22 LPA.
Is it a good option to choose Azim Premji University for development studies?
Yes, Azim Premji University (APU) is a good option for MA in Development studies. It is one of eminent social science universities in Bangalore. Development studies courses are purely Economics based in most institutes. However the course curriculum is quite different at APU, it is a fusion of multiple disciplines including Sociology, Economics, Ecology, Politics, etc. The institute has a group of highly qualified faculty, most of the faculty are alumni of Ivy League schools.

Is it worth doing the PGPEx Program from IIM Shillong?
The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) offers a Post Graduate Program for Executives in Visionary Leadership in Manufacturing (PGPEX-VLM). This program is designed to meet the current demand for leaders in the manufacturing industry who have a combination of technical and managerial skills and are able to navigate the challenges presented by businesses that rely heavily on information and aim to achieve the "Triple Bottom Line".
On the other hand, the Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management Shillong (IIM Shillong) has partnered with the Ocean University China (OUC) in Qingdao to offer a Post Graduate Program for Executives in Managing Business in India and China (PGPEx-MBIC). This program provides general management education in the context of emerging economies, focusing on the host countries of India and China, and aims to prepare leaders to conduct business in these economies uniquely.
How is IIT Mandi for pursuing an MS in VLSI for an ECE student, and what are the placement options after completing the same?
As mentioned in the answers before me, IIT Mandi is not a good choice for Masters’. It is located in a remote area with low connectivity. This makes it difficult to reach, and consequently, affects its placements to a great extent.
Other than location, the college lacks a strong alumni network. B.Tech students from new IITs either opt for an MBA, or choose to pursue their M.Tech from an old IIT. IIT Mandi as of now, does not have a very strong reputation in the industry. An 8-12 LPA CTC is not up to the IIT standards, but this is usually the package range offered to B.Techs from IIT Mandi. If B.Techs are struggling to get placed, the situation would obviously be tougher for postgrads.
Choose M.Tech VLSI from IIT Mandi only if you do not have a better option.
Which is better: Delhi Technical University or Galgotia University?
DTU is an old institute of national importance with a spectacular placement record and a wide alumni base. While Galgotias University is a 5-year-old university with average placements and faculty.

DTU has a huge alumni base. Some noteworthy alumni at Delhi Technological University are Vinod Dham, Sushant Singh Rajput, and Durjoy Datta.

- Attendance is of utmost importance at DIT, most of the faculty members ask to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in their subject.
- There are several workshops held by the university which will provide some knowledge. But for this, a student should engage on their own. The university does not provide attendance for extracurricular activities.
- Only limited facilities are good on the campus. These are the clubs and teams from the Mechanical and Automobile Department.
- These teams actively participate in multiple competitions like Formula Student Design Challenge and BAHA at the national level every year infests like AUDICIOUS, DIT Motoracing, etc.
- The college has an active club from the Mechanical Engineering Department, Society of Automotive Engineering (SAE). Which organizes guest lectures and technical learning workshops.
- People who involve themselves in DIT Motoracing learn a lot about automobiles. They can work in the workshops and get a useful experience.
DIT Dehradun requires working towards the goal from the first day itself. Maintaining an average CGPA of 7.5 and learning from the department is important. You should also strive to develop a sound understanding of the software required for your branch.
