Which is better, BITS Pilani or CBIT?
BITS Pilani is definitely the better college as compared to CBIT. I do not have much idea about CBIT. BITS has a league of its own.
Here are some key points about BITS:
- It has a really good academic culture and is one of the best academic institutions after IITs for engineering degrees.
- The college is much better than many Indian engineering colleges when it comes to infrastructure, placements, brand as well as campus life.
- BITS Pilani focuses on open learning as well as dual specialization.
- You will experience quality teaching and have a really good global alumni base.
You can compare other IITs like IITB, IITM, IITK for better or for the worse. But, keep in mind that this does not mean that other top governments or private colleges are not equally good or even comparable to BITS. It all boils down to the pedigree, which is the only thing that matters.
A lot of colleges across the country are making huge strides in efforts to tackle leading colleges within the next 8 to 10 years. It all depends upon how strategically the college invests and commits to doing better. From what little knowledge we have about CBIT, it really does not compare much in this aspect.
How is RGUKT?
RGUKT is an autonomous institute located in Telangana and AP. The campuses at both Basara and Nuzvid are quite good on the infrastructure level.
One of my friends studied at RGUKT, he described the University as beyond perfection.
- You will be given ample resources and opportunities.
- Faculties on campus are highly skilled, friendly, and helpful too.
- Labs are well equipped with hi-tech equipment. Lab technicians are always there to help you out.
- Students are even given laptops and high-speed internet connections.
- There is a student activity center within the campus that offers a gymnasium, indoor and outdoor sports stadium, and a pool.
- There are certain tech fests and hackathons held yearly on the campus.
The placement scenario is on par with other institutes like IIITs.

Which is better, LNCT Bhopal or LNCT Indore?
Both the colleges LNCT Bhopal or LNCT Indore are good. If you are getting a choice between LNCT Bhopal and LNCT Indore, go for the former.
LNCT Bhopal is the main college of the LNCT group and now it became a University that offers you good faculties, well-equipped laboratories, a huge Campus, quality academics, and the best Campus Placements. The college will give you full support but for that, you need to be honest too with your efforts.

Apart from that, if you are looking for a private college in Indore then maybe try for Medi-caps else for a private college in Bhopal, then go for LNCT main or Oriental.
Which is good in terms of placement and overall academics: LNCT Bhopal or LPU Jalandhar?
I am an alumnus of LPU, but my honest opinion is based on my personal experience. LPU offers good infrastructure, faculty, academics, and placements. Though placements depend on the students’ effort and dedication, it is also a college’s responsibility to bring in good companies.
IBM, Microsoft, Google, Infosys, Bharti Airtel, Maruti, Larsen & Toubro, DLF, Nokia Siemen, Indian Navy, HDFC Bank, Ranbaxy, Royal Bank of Scotland, Tata, Wipro, Accenture, Convergys, Reliance, Dell, Taj Hotels, Provogue, Nestle, Coca Cola, Barclays, Deloitte, etc. are some of the companies that visit the LPU campus for hiring.
Moreover, LPU is positioned 50th in the NIRF 2023 Engineering Rankings.
Based on all these reasons, and out of my own positive experience of studying at LPU, I would recommend the university for higher studies.
Which is a better engineering college - St. Francis Institute of Technology, Mumbai or Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Mumbai?
Most of the children’s choice will be engineering after their 12th grade. At that point, St. Francis Institute of Technology and Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Mumbai belong to sister concerns. Both the colleges are approved by AICTE and come under Mumbai University affiliation. St. Francis provides several scholarships to the minority community students when Don Bosco reserves 51% of seats for the minority community (Roman Catholic Community). The admission criteria for students in both the colleges will be based on JEE Main, MHT- CET, GATE, GPAT.

To enhance students’ communicative and extracurricular skills both the colleges offer literary clubs and certified courses. When it comes to teaching methods both the colleges provide lab facilities, seminar rooms and counseling cells for student’s development. However, students can choose the college which is nearer to their home to avoid spending time on travelling, because both the colleges’ flood with a lot of assignments.
How difficult is it to get a loan for IMT Ghaziabad, MDI, IMI Delhi, or TAPMI?
IMT Ghaziabad offers financial assistance through various Educational loans. Many Nationalized banks have decent loan schemes for students of such prestigious B Schools.
One such Central Government scheme is the Vidhyadhanush wherein, students from IMT, MDI, IMI, Depts of IITs, and other elite B Schools are offered unsecured education loans with interest rates as low as 8.3-8.5. The maximum loan amount one can get is around 20 Lakhs. You can compare the schemes of different banks on the basis of interest rates, eligibility of your B Schools, and collateral schemes. It’s best to avail of the Central Government scheme to get the advantage of zero interest rate till the moratorium period. You can save as much as 1.5 Lakhs through this scheme.
The procedure to secure an education loan is very simple and quick. All one needs to do is study and compare various schemes and choose the best for themselves. Right after induction, many branches of banks put forward their loan schemes in front of the batches.
Which one is best: the RMK engineering college or the Sri venkateshwara engineering college around Chennai?
Sri Venkateswara Engineering College (SVEC) is better than RMK engineering college around Chennai. One of my cousins being part of the institute has her own opinions regarding the same, let me share some of them which will give you a clear idea.
- You will have a good standard of peers that will improve your exposure. It will help in developing quite a number of contacts.
- If you are planning to pursue your post-graduation, then enroll in SVEC. More than 30% of the students plan it (Post Graduation) early in their career.
- In terms of placements, you should possibly have no second thoughts, because SVEC is the best, only after SSN.
- Besides, SVEC also comes with a brand value that can add up to your exposure.

The only possible downside is that the institute does not usually focus highly on Cultural Fests, unlike when most others do.
Which university has a better campus and better placements - Kalyani Burdwan or Jalpaiguri government engineering college?
After doing some research online about these institutions, with my limited knowledge of JGEC & KGEC, I am writing this response.
- Given that they are government colleges, both are great institutes to begin your career.
- They never promote or market themselves in the way that other institutions might (Return on investment involved).
- Although JGEC is underestimated because it is located in North Bengal, it does not receive the same level of exposure as KGEC or BWD university.
- KGEC is known for its technology/IT courses, while JGEC excels in the core departments.
- TCS is a regular for KGEC in terms of recruitment, whilst CTS favors JGEC.

Lastly, I can say that you can opt for any of the colleges, it will be a good step ahead in your career. Choose which suits your requirements the best.
What are modes of transportation in IIT Madras (Chennai)?
As a student of IIT Madras, you will have to travel to the Main Gate, Velachery gate, and your classes in the Class Room Complex located at a distance of 4,2, and 1 km respectively from your hostel. Some common ways of commuting inside the campus are
- Walking: Some health freaks may prefer walking to and fro from the hostel to the CRC which is in reality a difficult task considering the hot climate.
- Shuttle service: These buses are helpful if you need to get to the main gate or the Velachery gate in time or if your department is Engineering design or Naval Architecture and you don't have a cycle. These are known for their exceptionally high speed.
- Bicycles: This is the most preferred means of transport inside the campus and is considered a blessing when you look at the long waiting lines for buses. The problem arises when it's time to repair these bicycles but is the IITians we are talking about here, who have a solution to every problem. Some enthusiastic students launched an app called CAVAL. Under this app, one needs to register on the app or the website and input their location or the location where their cycle is and a mechanic will come and he will repair their cycle.
- Olas and Cabs: These are rarely seen inside the campus and are very expensive.
The most preferred means of transport for someone not owning a bicycle is the bus.
Which is better, HBTU Kanpur or BIET Jhansi?
HBTU Kanpur is better than BIET Jhansi. It has an excellent faculty base. The student crowd is better. HBTU Kanpur placements are great. Many reputed companies such as ITC, HSBC, Berger Paints, Dabur, Bharat Petroleum, etc. take part in the campus drive. During the 2021 placement drive, the highest and average CTC offered were INR 43.5 LPA and INR 6.46 LPA.
