Remarks
The college is one of the most famous in our district of Calicut. The faculties and the campus is one the best in Kerala. The support they give for sports and arts are also massive. The only negative I can think of is that the according to my friends the hostel maybe a bit ecpensive.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is based on Calicut university. The University conducts the exam semester wise there are six semesters. The exam takes place almost every six months but the duration may change. The results are announced 2 months after the exam.
Placement Experience
Yes there are placements and job opportunities provided by them. Before the last semester exam. Interview are conducted by different componies mainly from Kerala itself. No there are no internship program to the best of my knowledge.
College Events
Our college is in Kerala so the main events celebrated is onam. Its a Kerala festival. Students come wearing ethnic kerala dress and several games such as tug of war and others are conducted. Other programs like annual day and other cultural fests are also conducted.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it is partially a government college the fee structure is feasible for students. Only the initial fee is a bit high which is refunded after 3 years. The yearly fees paid is only a small amount. The college also has a self finance department where the fees are bit expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are no direct scholarship opportunities provided by the college but there are several offered by government based on Mark's obtained by individual students. The scholarship is entirely given by the state govenment.
Campus Life
The college is well known for its arts and sports. Arts and sports are highly motivated in the college. The college is known for its athletics and football team. The college has been develeping great artists and sports persons for many years now.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students was very helpful for both academically and in any other matters they were very friendly towards us and helpful. The college has a very good alumni network and also organises former students meet regularly.
Admission
The admission is through online portal. You have to apply online then if you are selected they will call for interview. The admission is completely based on marks obtained in 10+2. Then you have to pay initial fees if not your spot maybe given to next person.
Faculty
The faculty are very professional and experienced most of them have been working here for more than 10 years. They are very friendly and supportive to students. They have great expertise in subject.
