Course structure is based on the syllabus and material prescribed by the University of Calicut. Syllabus is not updated to the match the current requirements of the employer firms. Exam is conducted on semester basis with each semester comprising of 5 subjects and an additional subject for the 5th semester as an open course free to choose from a given list.

Placements are done on a permanent and continuous basis with around 100 students placed every year through campus recruitment and eligible for higher level jobs. Banks, tech companies and auditing firms are major employers and there is a dedicated placement cell and a TPO to identify and invite suitable firms to approach and take up students. Internship programmes are arranged by the college with the cooperation of various banks.

Almost all the events of national and international importance like world population day, earth day, water day, international day of peace, day against drugs, independence day, republic day. Common festivals like Onam, Christmas are celebrated with pre-arrangements and also includes various competitions and events. College day, management fests inviting various other college students and participants are invited and conducted with attractive prizes. Special parades are conducted on national days of importance. Club activities are arranged and conducted with the coordination of various departments.

Fees structure is feasible and comparatively inexpensive for the aided college students where the fees for completing a year of study requires only Rs. 3000-3500 for the general students and Rs. 1200 for the students with government scholarships and caste benefits. Exam fees for each semester ends up at a maximum of Rs.600.

Scholarships are provided to the eligible students on merit basis with the help of Central and state governments scholarship policy. Egrants, central sector scholarships, post metric scholarships, single girl child scholarship and various other income based schemes for scholarships are availed by the local and foreign students. Students from lakshadweep receive eligible scholarships and accomodation benefits.

The extracurricular activities are promoted at the best potential which includes all the areas of sports, arts, social services and certificate courses. There is specific orientation and training for the eligible students and there is a fair selection to the college teams for the events. Female students are given training im martial arts as part of empowerment program. Labs are technically strong and equipment rich with sufficient qualified staff and technicians.

Yes very helpful in providing the required textbooks and materials and for clearing the doubts on the subject related matters. A wide array of famous alumnaes who are qualified and are a common face at film industry, government administration and bureaucracy. OSA of St.Thomas college has been in and large capable of presenting a notable picture of the quality delivered at the college.

I uploaded the merit details into the college website admission application platform after which the allotments were announced on merit basis on the percentage score and extracurricular achievements. Allotted students were called for admission where we provided the details and certificates to cross check the percentage score and achievements and other students were capable of applying through management quota, community quota and sports quota. Eligible students were allowed upto maximum strength of 65 per class.
