Remarks

The college life was a memorable thing. The college gave us full freedom to enjoy the college life. The activities in the college was a life time memory. The academics is good. The only problem in the college is the management and their attitude towards the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is under Kerala Technological university. So the Curriculum was tough and all semesters were short and no time for completion of portions. The university tries to earn money by failing students in examinations.

Placement Experience

The placement was not good enough in our college. No firms was approaching the college and on the other hand college management is not taking initiative for placements and job opportunities.The opportunity to the students to earn a job by placement is less.

College Events

The main celebrated event is our college arts fest YASYA. On behalf we conducted technical fest, Onam and other festivals celebrations. The NSS group is organising different programs in the nearby places.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The management and NRI seats fee structure was bit too high. But government seats fees are feasible. The fees structure is now reduced because of lack of admissions in the college. The management seat students have now less fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

When i joined the college they offered a scholarship for the students who got a good cgpa in the exams and later the scholarship was stopped by the college itself. The scholarship given by the college is limited beacaus of the fund raising activities

Campus Life

The college offered the five different branch streams. The mechanical engineering lab was in around of 2 floors. It is an well occupied lab. The other branches lab is good enough. The main activity in the college is the intercollegiate arts fest. Its called as Yasya. In last year, it was the second best in terms of the programs we had scheduled in trivandrum and the BEST in tems of the Success in trivandrum. The college lack a good play ground. The sports activities is good enough.

Hostel Facilities

There was no hostel in our college. But during this year started girls hostel in the college campus. The management is trying to build a boys hostel after this year. The hostel should be built for good accommodation of students.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

The problem was faced by me during the joining time in the college was the ragging by the seniors. But they were friendly and very supportive in studies and other things. The senior students gave us many informations and advices about the life and other things.

Admission

Kerala entrance exam and i got the rank and i have applied for this college and got the admission. The college was opted by me because of my Father's friend. The College was far away from my home. The admission got in the college was by the allotment process by the government.

Faculty

The faculties in our college was very different from the other college faculties. They were very friendly supportive and gave us freedom to take the right choices. They even try to solve our problems.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

Likes

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

college provides nice venue good study environment
provide library facilities and lab facilities

It is so far from the main road a lot to walk

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

Campus, comparing from nearby college this college had good visual beauty may be because of the college been part 2-3 movies. Visually the college are too good with nature

Dislikes

The Placement is weak as there is no opportunity to get a proper core based job from what you studied mainly job opportunities come from call centres which doesnt require Btech to study. This personally felt too sad to be here to get placed in core.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of the college comes under Ktu syllabus it has already has demerits of the university. Curriculum basically doesnot provide a realworld application uses. Just creates a knowledge on the course (and thats doubt) We need to courses outside the college to get the core jobs outside

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

Placement Experience:

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.

The campus is a package pf greenery and the culteral events conducted there are good at the end
The faculties are good and maintain a decent teaching style
The sports activities are well maintained here

Dislikes

The hostel mess and the food is a bit not good from my opinion
The hostel doesn't have adequate wifi to accommodate the entire strength of students residing there

Yes the college is providing placement facilities and the College has its own placement and industrial relations wing that is said to study about the current industrial requirements and provide the adequate amount of training for the students

Best college for middle class people who can chase their dreams.
