The positive remarks are, *They provide a good academic development atmosphere for students. *Provides scholarships. * Provides add-on courses. * Excellent teaching and experienced faculty. *Provides best study tours. The negative remarks are, * There is no good relationship between college and students. * No freshers day and send-off party. * Only a few events occur. *They didn't provide good infrastructure for extra curriculum activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Best opinion. Our batch 2015-2019 is the first batch of new universities known as APJ ABDUL KALAM TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY (KTU). It is the biggest university in the Kerala and top number one in Kerala. This university is originated from the combining of small universities like Kerala, Calicut, Kannur, MG, CUSAT, etc. So our college has some problems with handling our new batch. Because of new schemes, syllabus, study structure, new lab and workshops introduction and new exam patterns. But they did their best. They handled us greatly. If we go through the exam structure, there are 3 exams for each semester. 2 internal exams and one main university exam. We need a 45% mark for the 2 internal exams conducted by the college for participating in the main university exam. If we didn't get enough marks we can't attend the main exam.

Placement Experience

If we go through the placement cell in our college, it is hard to say that our college has poor placement & job opportunities. I studied there for 4 years, I didn't say a good company approaches our college. Our college is standing in the top 10 in two districts ( KOLLAM AND THIRUVANANTHAPURAM). Our college didn't provide any internships.

College Events

I studied there for 4 years. To my knowledge, these are the events that occurred in our college: Women's day celebrations, Arts day, Sports day, Tech fest, Onam celebration, College day. Only one event occurred, tech fest. They didn't give us a send-off. They only focused on our academic excellence.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I'm the lucky one. I got a scholarship to study. According to other students, it is feasible. Our college helps more students to study. They provide reductions in fees. Some students got a full fee reduction. They deserve the biggest salute.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides some scholarship schemes. To my knowledge, They provide full fee reduction, half fee reduction, and 10000 fees. I'm the lucky one, I got a full fee reduction. The criteria forget the full fee reduction scholarship. Is plus two mark, zero backlogs, and low annual income.

Campus Life

College gives some add-on courses like Autocad, NDT, MEP, Creo, Bimps lab, etc. They have certified good labs and workshops. But in the case of sports, they provide bad facilities. Our college only gives attention to students' academic growth. It is one of the negative reviews.

Hostel Facilities

I'm a day scholar. So I didn't know about that. In my knowledge, college provides low fee for the students. They give full fee reduction scholarships for poor students. So the hostel fee is free. They provide good facilities.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Because our college didn't give a send-off party for our seniors and us. There is no freshers day.

Admission

I got enough rank in the entrance exam. My father searches for a good college near to my house. Finally, we found a vast tc kilimanoor, TVM which is 20km apart from my house. We heard good academic achievement news for this college and I got a scholarship for a fee reduction. This scholarship I got because of my plus two mark. Then we finally decided to take admission to this college.

Excellent faculty. The experienced staff makes a good relationship with the students. They took classes in a smart way. It is the best way to observe the class. From my 18 yrs of study, I can say that my college staffs are best one. They create more inventive ideas in our brains.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

Campus, comparing from nearby college this college had good visual beauty may be because of the college been part 2-3 movies. Visually the college are too good with nature

Dislikes

The Placement is weak as there is no opportunity to get a proper core based job from what you studied mainly job opportunities come from call centres which doesnt require Btech to study. This personally felt too sad to be here to get placed in core.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of the college comes under Ktu syllabus it has already has demerits of the university. Curriculum basically doesnot provide a realworld application uses. Just creates a knowledge on the course (and thats doubt) We need to courses outside the college to get the core jobs outside

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.

The campus is a package pf greenery and the culteral events conducted there are good at the end
The faculties are good and maintain a decent teaching style
The sports activities are well maintained here

The hostel mess and the food is a bit not good from my opinion
The hostel doesn't have adequate wifi to accommodate the entire strength of students residing there

Yes the college is providing placement facilities and the College has its own placement and industrial relations wing that is said to study about the current industrial requirements and provide the adequate amount of training for the students

Perfect college

I entered through merit seat university fees were 5000 college fees were 45000 , admission process was great and also college faculties ensured big scholarships if performed well in college , and also they help me for completing all admission processes very quickly and they just gave me complete idea about the benefits of the course and all about my career .Only dis advantage i felt was college was not perfectly air conditioned .
