Course Curriculum Overview
Course is very good. You will become doctors. Bds, you will have to pass 4 year exams, each year, 3 internals will be conducted, 2 of it will be taken as an average and added to your final marks, after finishing 4 years. 1 year compulsary internship has to be done to get the degree certificate.
Placement Experience
Job opportunities will be for only 2 or 3 max, students get appinted in the same hospitals in a year. Yes we have internship , 25000 will be given after completion of internship. 1 time payment. Stipend will not be given every month.
College Events
We celebrated freshers day, teachers day, graduation day, sports day, onam, womens day, cultural week (food competition, rangooli competition, dress competition) farewell day. All the events go happily and they ll provide food facilities too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Government seat students pay 50,000 per year. Management seats are expensive. It could vary im not sure. When i joined it was 14 lakh for bds, for mds it was 50lakh. Some localites get seats for 8 lakh also. Depends on management staffs and course of bds.
Fees and Financial Aid
Social welfare for SC/ST. Vidyasiri for Obc. These two are good Scholarship. College might provide loan facility for management seats, i have not availed it. But management fees are expensive. Even the repeated exam for failed candidates, reexam fee is hike.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities, they do food mela! They prepare food and make competition of it. They used to play i mean sports, when i joined. Now they have stopped it. We have labs for all the subjects and interesting.
Alumni/Alumna
Not all students are helpful. Some help and some wont. Our seniors didnt help much, but we help juniors, depends on people. But teachers will always help whenever we hav a doubt. Even though they are not available all the time, they will explain and make us understand if we approach them.
Admission
I got my seat based on Karnataka CET exam (common entrance test). All the karnataka students will take part in this exam. Everybody will get a rank. Based on it, the most better students get a seat. We have option entry, so we can select our preferred college all over karnataka. Not CET is for engineering, NEET is for medicos.
Faculty
Lots of staffs means lots to learn from them. Very good n friendly. We have around 12 departments, in every department we have 6. Hod, readers, professors, Post graduates, sisters, cleaner. All the staffs will help if we go and aproach them.
