Remarks
The college is a great option for pursuing engineering in Pune. The drawback is the high fees, which later impacts the return on investment. It's evident that the best minds of the institute are placed in great companies with very high packages.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am reviewing the curriculum for computer engineering, which is highly competitive. The department has adopted modern industry demand skills in their curriculum. They arrange regular workshops and externals trainers are called up for delivering sessions.
Placement Experience
The college certainly has the best placement cell in entire Pune. Almost every student has an offer by the end of the final year. The brilliant and hard working students get good exposure and opportunity to participate in MNC placement drives.
College Events
The college generally has an annual event which is not much fascinating. Apart from annual events there are inter department sports activities and individual department events. Overall the events are fun but you won't regret even if you miss it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college is the most expensive college in Pune. The fees is more than One and a half lakh rupees, which is very expensive as per my opinion. The hostel fee is also slightly high but the hostel is well mentioned.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college does not have any scholarship of its own as per my knowledge. The college does facilitate government scholarships and University scholarships for meritorious students and students with poor financial background. The student section keep the students update with scholarship notifications.
Campus Life
The computer department is the best department considering the extracurricular activities and labs. The department help students to interact with people from the industry. Students can participate in professional certifications are a lower rates, organised in the department.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is at a higher cost. The overall infrastructure is good and the rooms are spacious. The hostel has 2 cafe around for meal which do not offer get food. Considering alandi, the hostel is best accommodation you can find around.
Alumni/Alumna
The departments are trying their best to make the alumni network stronger. The college and department websites are updated with passing out students for every batch. The computer department regularly organises alumni meets.
Admission
The college is an autonomous institute affiliated with the Pune University. The college accepts mt-cet scores and jee scores for admissions. The cutoffs are usually high especially for the IT, Entc and computer engineering department.
Faculty
The faculty is young and very supportive. The students of the computer engineering department share a very healthy relationship with the teachers and supportive staffs. Teachers give individual attention to students whenever needed.
