Very good college for any student with the aim of studying. student friendly campus good office staff as well as experienced teaching staff. College has a well equipped lab for students. No unnecessary stress is put upon any student by the authority. Hence a very calm and peaceful lab experience for students in the science stream.

College Events

Freshers day, Onam celebration, Union inauguration, Christmas celebration, Valentines day celebration, College arts day, College sports day, College day. Besides theese celebrations, small culturals and programs are also conducted enjoyment is a must in degree curriculum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Ours is an aided college, so the fee structure is very much affordable for everyone. Fee relaxation is given to economically backward class and fee relaxation is also given to OBC.

Campus Life

400 female, 300male. (Not accurate ratio). A very good sports team is available. Especially for kabaddi. Sports is very much encouraged in the campus.

They are very helpful and friendly odd cases may be seen, but nothing too serious.

Admission

Fill up your admision forms online published by kerala university. wait for allotment results. candidates securing higher marks in higher secondary exams have higher chances of getting admitted into college. students having certificates of taking part in extra curricular activities will receive grace marks. sports quota is available for young athletes for getting alloted into college. I chose this course because it is comparitively easy to learn comparing other degree programs available in the college.

Faculty

Highly qualified teaching staff is in charge, therefore no need to stress. They are very much interested to do their.

A practical choice with quality education

Likes

Firstly i likes the campus its very beautiful and naturally buided
Second i love the central library of our college its amazing.
Third i like the infrastructure of our college its perfectly balanced.

Dislikes

I didn’t like the restroom of our college its good not perfect one.
Second I didn’t like the some classroom its very old model.
Third I didn’t like the bathroom structure its not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculam as moderatly relevent and fairly good .which is one of the main reason i choose this course . And i am very passionate about history teaching method and i want to become a history teacher these was the main reasons i choose the course.

the university is eco friendly and supports sustainable development and has better infrastructure and high technological facilities and equipments
the university has well qualified facility and experienced staffs which is very good for the peers
the university has lots of solar panel which is very important to maintain sustainable development it also saves electricity

Dislikes

as well it is a developing university there are lot of construction works taking place around so the sound of these works are bit noisy
the transportation facility in the university for hostel students are not working properly and staffs who drive the buggies does not pick up the students until they ask them to
as the university is placed in a hill top it is difficult for most of the students to reach here and also it is a rural area so it has its own limits

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Actually this course is a better choiche for those who wants to be a teacher in English. Because it gives us dual degrees which normally takes a time period of 6 to 7 years to complete. So it is really good course

My college has a tradition of 103 years of legacy
The campus is very clean and tidy and provide a green scenery
The building in the old model is the most beautiful.

Dislikes

Being an old building, there is no technological development
Seminar halls are not available in all departments.
Hostel time restriction has been placed. That is why it is difficult to be a student

With a strong network of industry connection, the actively facilitates internship, job placement and workshop. Sheethal mam is incharge of placement cell. I visited more organisations and human centres such as "Shanti Bavanam". And "Wecare". This college gives so many placements to students in so many companies the number of students getting placements is more than 85 percentage

Admission:

This university is entirely based on art and culture for getting admission here I gave an aptitude test and then interview. Total marks for both was 75 50 for test and 25 for interview.. questions were basic if we used your analysis power.

Actually in my college there is no entrance exam in my course, I chose this course (BA economics) because of my parents advice and I know how this course is important in the future I got admission on the merits basis. I got an admission card from the college. So there is no other procedures, admission based on plus two marks.

Sree Narayana College, Chathannoor is one of the only colleges in the village of Meenad. Year by year new courses are added to its line up and collaborations with various departments are done to increase students' knowledge in various disciplines. It provides quality education with experienced and knowledgeable faculty. The admissions process starts in June-July. Applications are to be submitted online to Kerala University.
