Remarks

The college is situated near a lake with a peaceful environment. The ambiance of the college is ver good. The college management provides everything need for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is based on the BTech topics. Its moderated by the University. These curriculum is approved by the ITT. Therefore its better. The curriculum gives all the knowledge needed for a btech student. There are 8 semesters in this course. Each semester consists of 6 programs except the 8th semester it has only 4 programs and other time is for project presentation. Exams are out of 100 marks and pass percentage is 45

Placement Experience

One best colleges in kollam have the best number of placement. More than 90% students appearing for the placement are placed. More than 20 companies will be coming for placement.

College Events

There are various events conducted in our college,the biggest event is techo cultural fest. This consist of various programs technical events,Paper presentation, project presentation,games,music etc.this is during the even sem Next is arts fest. In arta fest students of the college can participate in various events and will be awarded based on their performances. The other eventa are sports, IV, intercollege tournament, University tournament etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. The students who are studying on merit seats are having only 35000 per annum fees with additional charges for exam fees and other. Total 45000 per annum for merit students,while students studying in management seats are have a fee of ?65000 and additional charges for exam fees etc. Total of 75000 per annum for students on management seats

There are a lot of scholarship for students based on their performances in the entrance exam,plus examination. There scholarship for students from poor families.

A very peaceful and enjoyable College atmosphere. Both male and female studying are studying without any gender discrimination. The principal of our college is lady. She handles everything perfectly. The are annual sports meet and University sports meet conducted. Students are selected for college team with their performances.

Hostel Facilities

The college doesn't have its own hostel but there are a lost of hostels available for students next to the college. Many of the students are staying in hostels. These hostels provide clean rooms and good food and they are very close to the college

College seniors are very much friendly to us. Everybody is friendly to us. Alumni of our college are very polite and helpful for us.

Admission

First of all i appeared for the keam entrance examination. After passing the exam i was allowed to select the colleges i want. The merit seats you prefer will be sloted to you based on your rank in the entrance examination. There a website for knowing about your rank and applying for colleges. One you give your prefered college list they will publish the results. There will be a trial allotment, then first and second allotments. All the seats are merit seats. In this college half of the seats are merit and balance are management seats.

The classes will start at 9:10am and ends at 4:00pm. Each session is about 1hr duration. The lectures are very much productive and the teachers are experienced in these subjects. Notes will be provided for students. There will be internals for students. There will be 2 internals for each semester.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

Campus, comparing from nearby college this college had good visual beauty may be because of the college been part 2-3 movies. Visually the college are too good with nature

Dislikes

The Placement is weak as there is no opportunity to get a proper core based job from what you studied mainly job opportunities come from call centres which doesnt require Btech to study. This personally felt too sad to be here to get placed in core.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of the college comes under Ktu syllabus it has already has demerits of the university. Curriculum basically doesnot provide a realworld application uses. Just creates a knowledge on the course (and thats doubt) We need to courses outside the college to get the core jobs outside

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.
