Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Management College Meerut, BCA, General

Reviewed on Apr 22, 2020

Remarks

The management of DDUMC thinks about the welfare of students. At last, I want to say that choosing the right path at the right time is very important so just think and choose your path and from my point of view DDUMC is the best college among all the colleges in the Meerut.

Course Curriculum Overview

Apart from coverage of University syllabus, the college is providing value addition course like Cloud computing, Machine learning, Phyton, Expert lectures without any additional fee. College provides effective personality development and English language skills training which helps us a lot.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Placement Experience

DDUMC gave a lot of importance on Placements. College giving multiple opportunities to every student in order to improve our career path. At every stage of placement, we are getting the support that's why I could be able to crack the interview of Wipro. Mock interviews are also conducted in order to brush up our skills so that we get ready for the interviews. Almost 70%-80% of students are placed in leading MNC's like IBM, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Jaro-education, Tech-Mahindra, Concentrix, etc.

College Events

Students get many opportunities for participation in cultural events which are held regularly. Annual fest, Founder's day, Diwali celebration, Fresher's meet and Farewell functions are big events. We also have technical events, Sports day and business fair. In all events, the participation of students is in large numbers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In comparison to other colleges, the fee structure of DDUMC is quite inexpensive. The fee is accepted only in the online mode. The fee structure is very transparent there is no hidden charges and no extra fee is charged from students for value addition course and Personality development training.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I have not taken any education loan. College present cash incentives to students for their meritorious performance in University exams.

Campus Life

The ratio of boys and girls is about 60:40 in all batches. A number of Extracurricular activities are organized in college, almost every week. It includes technical competitions, Quiz, creative club and literary club activities. Annual sports meet is also organized.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college has a large number of alumni, they are working in good profiles and they provide supports in placements every year.

Admission

I'm interested in making a career in the field of software programming, therefore, I decided to take admission in BCA. My elder sister suggested me about DDUMC as she was also started their career from the same. So as per the admission process of CCS University, I registered online on its admission portal and then I came to the college campus.

Faculty

DDUMC has well qualified, knowledgeable and supportive teachers.some of them have qualified PhD, and some are also having industry experience. Classrooms are well equipped with LCD projectors and a lot of teaching is done through PPts. Computer labs are well equipped and has a high internet speed.

Think before you opt for this college.

Likes

The infrastructure and greenery was really good. Play grounds, running track and a sports building. There were respective charges for availing any sports facility like gym, swimming etc.
College fest was average with the college inviting well known artists like Milind Gabba, Nikita Gandhi, Raftar etc.
Girls- boys ration is good but the quality of students and environment is below average.

Dislikes

None of the teachers were highly trained to teach subject matter. The administration was always finding ways to fine students may it be for attendance or any hostel related expenses.
Hostel food was real trash. After even complaining on a regular basis it was upto no good.
There were many restrictions for hostel students like for even going out we needed passes and had to call our parents, they don't provide leave if u want to go home during the session.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are been done but they force u to sit for non core companies. Like I was doing BCA and I had to sit for slaes, marketing and in field sales persons job interviews. Mass eecruiters like infosys and wipro also came which they take like 200 to 300 students.

True review by a college student.

The admission process was absolutely easy. The thing that pulled me towards this college was that this was really No. 1 college for BBA & BCA in Meerut. Honest review about my college

Basically, I have not applied to any college. I directly take admission in pt. deendayal Upadhyay management College. I Not avail of any quota but get scholarships from the government side. The Admission criteria for the course depend on the 12th board result. There is no age boundation and if simply you are pass in 12th board, you will get admission. I achieve 85 percent in the 12th board and get admission. The process of admission is started with registration form filling and I need to submit some amount of course for confirmation of my admission. If you do not clarify what you have to do, you are free to take counselling there....Read More

Good college experience

The admission process is so flexible. It totally depends on the student's 12th percentage. At least 45% you have to reserve for admission. And you have to collect the admission form of rupees 1000 from college. And after filling the form you have to submit it in college. After your admission confirmed you have to submit at least 50% of your 1 yr fees....Read More
