Best college experience

Nothing special. In my time buildings were small and old. Now they have new college buildings with much improved facilities

Written State entrance and that cleared me to get admission in merit quota. Govt fee was very less 2K per year and since the college was new there was no politics at that time which made me to complete the couse as a non-driker/non-smoker student

First year was having basic of all engineering topics and later deep dive to electronics and communication with 6 papers and 2 labs per semesterElectives wereVHDL programmingCommunication engineering

No stipend and internship was present as this was a bachelors degree.It was a fully packed course of 8 semesters and 64 subjects. 1 mini project and 1 main project. Main project can be done associated with any company> most of us did in collaboration with VSSC which is near by the college

Very good placements as most of the top ranks students join in this college. They have a decent placement cell working closely with alumini network and very good companies come yearly for recruitments. Its usually 100% placed throughout

Every year college daycollege sports day, inter college fests been conducted, College cricket match and football match used to be there. We conduct inter college feasts in cultural and technical domains

It is very cheap as it is a govt college. At my time it was just 2K per year and not it would be some 20K per year which anyone can avail an education loan which is interest free

The entry is by state entrance and complete admission is based on metric baisis. For low income folgs there was provision to refund the fees as well

Since the college is in center of city we have had opportunity to attend all inter college fests and there was enough flexibility by our staff by allotting time to attend al the fests both culturals and technical

It is not that extra ordinary as expected. But it is decent and healthy. In addition there are many other hostels and accommodation facilities nearby as there are other colleges as well

We have a very good Alumini network which meets yearly. Alumini helps in getting more and more campus selections possible and getting more classes. We have placement cell also closely connected to alumini network which helps ongoing batch of students

It is 2 internal and 1 main exam per semester. 1 semester is of 6 months. Each exam will be 6 theory papers and 2 practical's. and there are total of 8 semesters in 4 years

Faculty was knowledgeable and regular to college.We have had classes for all subjects. They help us with extra classes in case of holidays and this helped us in focusing more in our subjects
