I had a flat nearby and convenience of being in Ahmedabad City so i chose it rather than govt college which i got in rajkot,Jamnagar or bhavnagar and also due to the fact that it is associated with VS general hospital which has huge inflow of patients so you get to know a great deal of practical knowledge during internship.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is good academic wise just that there is a shortage of professors in the early years of college, otherwise the teaching is very good and professional. The professors each one has their own way of teaching which teaches us about diverse nature of medical field and its explanations to name a few of them are jitendra sir and kanan mam and divyesh kapadia sir of anatomy, physiology includes anita mam etc. and the list goes on
College Events
Yes we have one of the biggest fest in gujarat in medical field called adrenaline and also medical conference called AMCON. In recent years we have got the likes of Farhan akhtar, Javed ali,neeti mohan to name a few to perform in the fest. Every year we have unique acitivities in the fest like model who, sansad etc. overall the fest is really great and sports activities include football, cricket (we even have adrenaline premier league), badminton, table tennis etc
Fees and Financial Aid
Given by government known as mysy which includes return of 2 lakh rupees in bank account or 50% fee receipt upto 2 lakh rupees for all medical and other colleges and they even have scholarship for those students who don’t have father or other earning member in their family
Campus Life
College infrastructure is not so good the campus is very small literally no sports facilities wifi is available with 100mbps speed, size of library is good but falls short due to increase in number of student in recent years owing to increase in seats the lecture halls are great but they should improve the overall infrastructure as it looks too old and does not conform to the huge amount of fees taken
