It's a very good college with good placement. But hard to get admission as the quota system is applied here. General category have very less scope.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is good there. All the teachers teach well. The course is taught with focusing on both theories and practical. Also you can connect with alumnies for industrial knowledge and prepare yourselves for the same. Grooming is very specific being a govt college all the facilities are there but no one really cares that you are groomed or not.
Placement Experience
It gets good placement. Many companies like tcs, infosys,Wipro, Accenture etc go their for hiring. The process included preparing students for the recruitment by providing study material and training. It's placement percent is very high 95.
College Events
Devi ahilya Jayanthi, annual function, cultural program are held at big scale and also many techinical programs for students to learn. Students participate in such programs to apply knowledge learnt from their courses. Also hackathon, seminars from different technical gurus are held which can be attended by non college students as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's a government college so the fees is minimal. All the payment modes are accepted in the college digital/cash. Apart from this no additional fees are charged to students from quota.But if you are a general category you may have to pay money for everything kore than the quota.
Fees and Financial Aid
Not opted for any loan or scholarship. Bank loans can be easily taken for the. Student of davv. The bank needs a form filled with details.
Campus Life
Campus Life is good. Gender ratio is not known exactly but many girls can be seen in the college. Extracurricular activities are an option here a big big campus with different sports are available.even art activities can be done. labs are good. Racism is not for davv being a government college, this is not tolerated.
Hostel Facilities
No, but the hostels are ok.You need to share it with 1-2 other members.the building is not in great state. I have no idea about the rentals as I never stayed their. But the warden are strict and you get a room only.if you are lucky enough.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the alumni are helpful. Teachers sometimes gives you some.links to reach out to alumnies and get the ideas about the college,courses, placements etc.
Admission
I did not get admission, but admissions are based on merit list of the entrance exam. The counselling is arranged for students and all the students within the cutoff marking will be given admission. We need to give the entrance exam. The counsellings are done around may and college starts around June.
Faculty
5 lectures of 40 minutes. All the teachers taught well. Many teachers had industry experience as well. Davv hires very qualified teachers, they are expert in their areas. Talking about age, many teachers are young aging 35-50. But there are some teachers who also age above 55.
