Remarks

It is one of the best management colleges, shaping the careers of students who are looking for a course with some legit practical knowledge. I would back the teaching here since they work hard towards maintaining a good student-teacher relationship.

Placement Experience

Placements are pretty good at our college. Our college has close relations with some of the top brands in the industry, such as Loreal, CCD, Kotak Mahindra, Swiggy, HDFC, etc. The highest salary package secured by a student was around 5 LPA, the average package offered was around 4-5 LPA and the least salary package offered during my batch was around 3 LPA. They also provide training sessions for preparing students for the mock rounds.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The annual fee is around 74k, which means for the two-year course you would be paying around 1.48 LPA, which is on par with IIMs. The fee wasn’t an issue for me. But the ROI of college is not good enough. Otherwise, the college is pretty decent. Our college does offer scholarships and fee concessions for some selected students.

Campus Life

The campus has extended wi-fi connectivity throughout the campus and hostels. There are numerous books in the library in order to facilitate the course structure. Apart from that, there are fully digitized computer labs with around 50 computers. They even provide a laptop to each individual. The food in the canteen is good. I-Fest, Debate, and various events are scheduled on the campus.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms pretty luxurious to be honest. There are attached washrooms, AC connectivity, even fridge, washing machine for laundry, etc. Rooms are spacious and have a homelike feeling. Mess food is also good.

Admission

Admissions are granted on the basis of any of the top management level CMAT entrance exam. Otherwise, the applicant has to appear for an entrance test organized by the university. After the exam, the college conducts a GD and interview round, on the basis of which students are offered admission.

Faculty

4.5

Most of the faculty members were PhD holders. Most of them have experience of more than 10 years. The student-faculty ratio was also pretty healthy. Another great feature was the mentor-mentee concept, in which around 1 faculty has 15 students. Specialized career trek course and mock interviews are also held here. The college also invites many guest faculties in order to update students about the latest advancements in their core industry.

I did not like ahmedabad dranage system because of that we facing of water problem in rainy season

All the student are placed in a collage the placement percentage is 100% . more than 100+ companyes are come for placement soo that all the student are plced and get ther dream job for working proffesion . After summer internship program the company are start coming for a placement

A great start to my PGDM journey

Likes

I like the friendly and comfortable environment. Here you can interact with students and others
Faculty members are supportive They give us opportunities to interact and ask questions during sessions.
I like the campus and the activities conducted for students They give us opportunities to learn Outside regular classes

Dislikes

One thing that needs to be approved as waterlogging during rainy season because water gets collected around the campus and it gets difficult for the students to move around comfortably, specially for hostel students
Sometimes the schedule can get tiring back-to-back classes in sessions
I feel there should be more space for students in campus during breaks. They can go sit and learn their.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant to management and covers different areas that are useful for a PGDM student. It includes classroom learning along with practical activities. it is useful for understanding real world concepts. so far, I find the course structure Interesting and helpful

Great Learning Experience with good placement

The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. the campus environment is positive, with good infrastructure, industry exposure, regular guest lectures, and helpful placement assistance.

Placement Experience:

the college has a good placment cell and provides training through apititude tests, mock interview, and soft skill sessions. many reputed companies visit the campuse. Studensts become eligible for placement in the final, and the overall placement supporte is helpful for career growth.

Industry Oriented Learning at SBS

there is a faculty is very supportive and always ready to guide students academically
the curriculum is practical and includes case studies , presentations those help me developing real world business skill
placement cell also provides training and support for internship and final placements

Dislikes

college sports facilities are less also the monsoon season some we are face some of problems

The campus is located far from central ahmedabad along the SP Ring road.

The faculty members are helpful and explain the topics in a simple and practical way.
The campus environment is good, with useful facilities and a comfortable learning atmosphere.

Dislikes

The academic schedule is sometimes very busy, which gives students less free time.
There are many assignments and presentations, which can become difficult to manage sometimes.
Some campus facilities can be improved further to make student life more comfortable.

The palcement oppotunities Many companies visit the campus and offer jobs area like marketing, finance, HR and sales. The college also provide palcements training, interview prepration and guideance to students. The salary package depends on the comapny, job role and student performance.

Companies like nestle, kellogs, tcs, hdfc bank and adani etc visit the campus for placements. Students become eligible form the final year and the college provides good placements support and training, recently 12 students placed in finance with aprx 11 -12 lpa

Likes

the fee structure of the mba is very less compared to the other colleges
good classmates because people come from cmat and topppes only get admission
placements are good if you are satisfied with 6/7 lakhs a year

Dislikes

infrastructure of the campus is very poor
the faculties are average except one two, more from a teaching bg rather than corporate experience.
for me the average package is less, and some people also left by getting placed

Placement Experience:

good placements, avg is 6.5/7 ctc and in hand avg goes arounf 5 lpa, highest 17 lpa, lowest 4 lpa, median should be around 5 lpa, this is as per my batch(batch 23-25) it is similar in other batches and 80/90% students get placed easily if they are good and the placement cordinator also try to get the rest placed where the batch have achieves 100% almost every year. there are options after college if you dont get placement from college because it is core mba with subjects marketing finance and hr.
