Course Curriculum Overview

The course is well structured and grooms the students well enough for the industrial demands. During the course, there were multiple industrial visits which is really helpful after the college. The curriculum is more practical than theoretical. There are campus placements but I think let's not take that into account because most of the students do not be a part of it. They usually get pre-placement during their internships of graduation projects.

Placement Experience

Placements are good. Not many companies visit campus Placements but most of the students easily get jobs outside Placements. Those who do not, they can surely something for themselves because the curriculum prepares them to do so.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is you have to pay semester wise. It is feasible. About 60-70k per semester. For NRI students they have to pay for the entire year. which is 5-7lacs per year. Students have to pay for their own material which is the only added cost of the course.

Campus Life

The gender ratio is 7:3 ie there are 7 girls for every 1boy. Probably fashion tech is the only place where girls are more than boys. One can find people from all over India in one single place. There are many cultural societies, sports club, drama club, cultural club to name a few. There are no dorm parties or such, such activities are not allowed in here. Everyone is treated the same. There is no discrimination as such.

Alumni/Alumna

Interaction with seniors is a must in here. They really help their fellow juniors during job hunt and other such endeavors. College also calls their alumini from time to time to interact with students and share their experience.

Admission

The application process for all the courses is online. The candidates are selected on merit basis. Selection of candidates to B.Design course is on the basis of the scores in the entrance exams GAT and CAT followed by a situation test.

Faculty

All the faculties are experienced in their fieldwork. Average age of the faculty during my time would be around 35 years. There are young teachers full of new ideas and energy as well as old ones who are full and experience and understanding. Almost all the faculties hold industrial experience and certifications.

Placement Experience:

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

in terms of engagement its pretty good. you have a diverse set of peers group to learn from.
we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

Dislikes

missing on college campus because of space .

Placement Experience:

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Placements are one of the strong aspects of the IMB program SDA Bocconi Asia Center. I would describe the placement support as strong, with opportunities across consulting, analytics, marketing & sales, general management, HR, product management and operations.

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate
From SY only class is about 2-4 hrs everyday and Saturday-Sunday holidays

Dislikes

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed.The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

The box of life.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.
