Course Curriculum Overview

course structure is very good and it is very systematically arranged by the college and the college management as a very good experience in making and adjusting it it is very focused on the academics

Placement Experience

the main thing the colleges providing us with the very good academic so that we can find jobs for ourselves and colleges providing us with the very good internship so that we got some experience and skills that we are needed for the job

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fee structure is like you have to give 22000 rupees per year and if your choosing hostel facilities have to give extra fees hostel facilities are also very good and colleges providing us with the very good facilities

Campus Life

Colleges having a very good name in the sports field in the city and the state and there are lots of workshops societies and there is no tolerance regarding any gender race religion ethnicity sexual orientation politics and economics status

Admission

I was not very sure about this college but my father solution book parade show I follow these instructions and then I decided to take admission in this college admission process is very simple you just need to show your marksheets and the other documents they are talking about and then take admission in this college

My thoughts about my college

Likes

Faculty members of our college is very good
The thing i like that teacher in our college use projector to teach us
In our college, the students get to join various seminars, which college authorities provide us with time to time

Dislikes

The main thing which i disliked about our college is that our college campus is small if you compare it with other colleges
In our college we dont have clean toilets, and the toilets smells very bad
The next thing is that there were various construction going on in our college so for now thr college environment is healthy enough for a student to perform

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i want to appear for civil services examinations in future, so for me political science subject is helpful for my future career, in our department out faculty trach us in a decent manners, but there are some improvements needed with time

As a regular government college, no relevance to placements
The size of the college is quite small and needed more seats
No extra mentorship for curriculum development

I was interested in political and it influenced me set my decision to choose this course. The curriculum was good enough to prepare me for further academics. The frequency and timings of exams are regular. The difficulty of the exams depends on the student's preparations

Likes

I liked the overall environment of our college
My department (Geography) Faculty members are very good.
The teachers not only help in academics but also guide us for our better well-being.

Dislikes

Construction is going on in the college campus.
Though it has gain the autonomous tag still didn't get any such benefit.
The toilets are very unhygienic and have very bad odour.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course is very easy to understand anyone who is new to this branch or doesn't have any idea about geography can easily understand the topics through the guidance of our faculty members. They provide extra classes for better understanding of the students.

When I saw a professor doing the hypnotize process. The curriculum activities are much help to the future or the present generation. For the course curriculum, it is huge so deep explanation is required. No problem in this aspect.

I like the way the teachers of our department interact with us. They are very friendly. The campus is very good. We had sitting place for students to sit and relax when they don't have classes. We had a good playground.
The students of silapathar college are quite wonderful, friendly, helpfull.

Dislikes

Things I don't like about my college is , the principal of our college is quite rude, doesn't interact with the students. He don't even allow to enter to his office.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose English literature because I want to study literature, wants to study more about people. In our department there are very few students, 60% are girls and 40% are boys. We had four teachers in our department, namely, DR. PUBALI BORA KASHYAP (Qualification: M.A, Ph.D., UGC- NET), PREM PRASAD SHARMA (Qualification: M.A, M.PHIL), Gitima Deka (Qualification: M.A., M.PHIL), Raju Pegu (Qualification: M.A, M.PHIL). The teachers take tests continuously.

The admission criteria are based on 12th class grades. The examination of the 12th grade should be given from any recognized board. The admission is given on the basis of merit. My name appeared in the first list itself. Then I had secure my admission by completing all the formalities of the admission.

For admission, anyone who has passed his/her 10+2 in any stream can apply by going to the online admission portal(website) but at the time of mine, there was no such facility so We use to go college and apply directly by filling the form(paper-based).

Remarks:

Overall, I'd say college is very good. It is one of the finest colleges in the state. I came from elsewhere to study at this college and I don't regret my decision. I made many new friends and now I am used to the environment so it will be difficult for me to leave this place.

Best College under Gauhati University

This college in our area is one of the best college. The other colleges are not so comfortable for student because there mentors are not free with their students. I gained so many facilities from them Our college is so good that everything a students need in there. I did applied in dudhnoi college but i couldn't make to go there. So i did admission in this Goalpara College. This college is best under gauhati university and have A+ from NAAC. I did applied in dudhnoi college but go rejected because lack of marks. My college experience

It is nearest to my home. GOALPARA COLLEGE is considered as one of the re-known colleges of lower Assam. It has some great alumni like - poets, writer, literary figure as well as some civil servants. The professors are very much experienced and they teach very best. There 14 departments in our college consisting of 3 streams arts, science and commerce. All the departments have best professor of the Assam who taught us. Goalpara college also well known for its vast library, biggest playground, a huge number of students (almost 3500 students) from various places of Assam are studying here. Every year lots of students from Goalpara College get admission to some of the best Universities in India. Faculty members are also good.
