Course Curriculum Overview

Our college provides the opportunity to work with reputed brands which helps us practice and gain a lot , our course usually believes more on practical and enhancing our hand skills, Within this course we are made aware of universal fashion vocabulary and technical jargon of trade.

Placement Experience

Our college is number one in terms of placement , few seniors were even placed in International Industry of Fashion , overall our placement cell never fails to provide us with the best opportunities under the same umbrella.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for my Diploma course was Rs.1,55,000 excluding the admission fee and the application fee. Our college provides the best ROI and thus students from abroad pursue their fashion courses from our college as well.

Campus Life

Our college takes part in most of the festivals we celebrate holi, Ganesh Chaturthi as well because Mumbai is well-known for the carnival of Ganesh Chaturthi. Our college arrange workshops on hair and make up co organized by Lakme , fabric painting. We were also taken on industrial visit to Detex poly -Threading wrap

Our alumnis are stars of JD institute and they are graduates from JD institute of Fashion technology .Their work motivates us to work harder for our successful future , they encourage and arrange workshops to upgrade and intensify our fineness.

Admission

I applied online from the college's website for the diploma in fashion business management course and after uploading my academic records i was connected with a academic counselor who guided me for the further process.

Faculty

Our college faculties are very helpful and deal with patience , they provide us with all the necessary tools and ideas we need during our course. They have remarkable cognition and techniques which helps us understand our lesson easily.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

in terms of engagement its pretty good. you have a diverse set of peers group to learn from.
we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

Dislikes

missing on college campus because of space .

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate
From SY only class is about 2-4 hrs everyday and Saturday-Sunday holidays

Dislikes

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed.The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

The box of life.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.
