Remarks

This is a really good place and I am quite happy with my decision. This college offers many different facilities and infrastructure at very much affordable range. We also have a big library accommodated with a number of really great books, also different labs like CADD lab and Hydraulics lab etc with advance equipment and a lot more things are provided by this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is a bit complicated and difficult. Exams and labs are quite frequent leaving us with a hectic day. Before the main semester we have 3 internals, one internal exam in a month-wise. I am kind of happy that I chose this stream.

Placement Experience

5

The best feature of our college is it's associations with different industries as well as companies resulting in placements and job opportunities for many deserving students. The companies that arrives for recruitment follows a procedure and if students stand up to it, get placed in the companies they are selected.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it is a government college, it is very much obvious that the fee structure would not be expensive and completely affordable and reasonable at the same time and that is another feature of this college I am like about. The total fees that I have to pay are nearly Rs 5,450 which includes Rs 1000 tuition fees every year and Rs 800 as other fees plus Rs 50 during admission for registration.

Campus Life

Students here eagerly participate in various extra-curricular activities along with doing well in academics. We also have NCC and NSS troops for both boys and girls. The college also has Women Development Cell where students join in different conferences raising and discussing various issues. We also have other workshops related to our course etc.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I have opted for hostel facilities and kind of happy that I did so and would rate it a 8 out of 10. The hostel rooms have cupboards and study tables with chairs, toilets are cleaned and is hygienic, mess is quite spacious and provides us with good and hygienic food, Wi-Fi facilities and may more.

Admission

The selection process of this college is merit-based and the eligibility criteria is the marks secured in the 10+2 exams from a recognized board. Since I have scored decent percentage, after applying for this college, on the basis of 10th and 12th marks, my name was on the merit list of this college as a result I took admission here.

Faculty

5

The faculties of our college are very talented and educated and most of them are doctorate holders. Their main motive is to impart fundamental knowledge of engineering and technology to students so that they can excel in Mechanical department and prepare themselves for a successful career.

The specific aspect which is great future on IT Field of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course. The curriculum prepared me to solve tough real-world logical aptitude test and coding test. The course curriculum is only based on the theory in several areas. My suggestion is to improve that too in practical manner for better real-world understanding. The frequency and the timing of my exams along with my perspective on the difficulty level is 2hrs.

For my medical field i feel some subjects are unnecessary in my view point like the community medicines. I feel anatomy weightage should be more compared to buochemistrand physiology. I would like them to improve the chapters and remove chalters that are unnecessary so that we medical students can concentrate on whats inportant rather than studying everything and stuffing our brain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course based on the content of the University curriculum which was strongly followed by the institution. All the departments follow the University syllabus both theory and practicals. The maximum number of students for the MSc course is 10 but we were 2 in my class and the faculties ( 10 faculties in Biochemistry, 12 faculties in Microbiology, 8 in Hematology and 6 in Pathology, 4 in Genetics (part of Hematology and Pathology) and 2 in Epidemiology and Biostatistics) as of our time in both theory and practicals. In addition, there are many laboratory postings where you learn even more. There were atleast 5 Professors, 9 Associate Professors/Assistant Professors, 7 PhDs that directly taught us. The University exams come on October 15th of each year, there are 3 Internal assessments and 1 model exam. If you go through the internal assessment and the model exam, the University exam will not be difficult for you.
