Sara Faraz's Review On C. M. College, Darbhanga

This college is best in Darbhanga. I opted for this course as I wish to be a lecturere. Literature provided me a wide perception as well as clarity. literature widens our horizons as we can learn about people who are different from us. A glimpse of a particular region literature can talk a lot about the place. When I choose English as a subject, I had no idea that I would start seeinng life as a state of immense blessing. Literature provides us self satisfaction as we need to transform our soul. literature encourages us to be sensitive to the whole spectrum of human experience and to consider this when making decisions in our day-to-day lives. The study of literature has a civilizing effect on people. There is an extreme danger of education being used primarily to turn out engineers, lawyers, doctors, accountants, business men and business women and other professionals who are lacking in human feelings. I am debted to my college as it gave me a lot of chances to explore my life.

We were provided seminars and quizes. BA in English deals with the study of linguistics and specific areas of literature that includes Shakespearean plays, European Literature, and more. The programme offers an in-depth knowledge of English grammar and usage, British Literature, critical thinking, diversity, written and communication skills, and more. The programme is a three-year undergraduate course that helps in strengthening the linguistic capabilities wherein the students are also introduced to the social, cultural, political, economic and intellectual backgrounds in literary history. After successfully completing a BA in English, candidates can either opt for further studies or go for a career in writing, journalism, blogging, teaching advertising and media, etc.

Good placement. There's good opportunity is provided for placements, as a reputated college of darbhanga, many big Indian companies like bajaj finserv, hero mototcorp etc comes there. Due to supportive environment, students are already prepared for opportunities, which gives more chances of placements.

It was a nice experience, with lots of fun and interaction with new people. Full masti in campus. The college life is a master blend of happiness, enjoyment, a greater sense of responsibility and hard work. Pleasure and work go hand in hand. We attend lectures, go to labs, revise at home and prepare for class tests or monthly ones. During a class, a teacher keeps us busy in the lesson, but he has the knack of creating some humor. He does so to relieve us of stress and pressure. Sometimes, we learn that there would be a musical concert right after the exams. That is exciting.

Good structure, well furnished, with beautiful garden. C. M. College is located in Darbhanga near Quila Ghat on the bank of the Bagmati River. It is a constituent college of Lalit Narayan Mithila University. The college provides higher education in the arts and humanities. The faculty of the college consists of 68 well-qualified permanent teachers supported by non-teaching staff of 59. The college has a well-stocked library, computer center, health care center, hostel, canteen and housing for faculty and staff. There is a bank and post office located on campus. here more than one thousand students study regularly and more than 5000 students study in one semester. this is the best college under LNMU in darbhanga.
