I wanted to pursue pharmacy. Admission here was based on merit. So I took admission here. My college has a good culture. Even foreign students study here. The labs are clean and professional. Teachers are helpful. College hours are too long.
The course is based mainly on chemistry and biology. The labs are great. The faculty is well trained and all my teachers are PhD in their field. They are very helpful and encourage us to research and competitive exams.
Students become eligible for internships from the first year itself. The campus internships begin at 3rd year and campus placement begin from the fourth year. The highest package from my department goes around 6 lakh per annum. The least is 2 lakh per annum. Atleast 25% placements happen per year.
The fees are approximately 2 lakhs per annum. It is too much as compared to other pharmacy colleges. Also, there was no fee reduction even during online classes where we didn't use any resources from the University. I'm still studying.
The campus is clean. There are a variety of outlets in the campus ranging from CCD to narulas and even general canteens near almost every block. The clubs include sports, literary, dance, poetry, painting, debate, Drama and cultural.
As I told you my college is just started my course of pharmacy so I can't say much about placements. But on the other hand in BTech, many reputable companies come and take brilliant students for their company'. I guess 70% placement from college in BTech in the year 2019.
If you are taking admission in. B.tech course you will get plenty of opportunities for placement but if you opt for b.pharma you will get marketing companies for placement that will be only 2-3. The college brochure will show 90-95% placement but that's not true. Reality is different
The placement is provided to every student who so ever interested in getting a placement and all the courses have the placements. Every department has a separate placement head. The teacher also influences students and arrange personality development class for better placement. The placement package is 2-10lac as per the minimum and maximum package offered to students.
The placement starts from 7th semester for 4 years course students, and till now only 1 company came for the interview and for our senior-most of them are still unemployed, the main reason is the university mainly focus in BTech students and their placements, and for us means pharmacy students it's really hard to get campus placement, one of the reason is our university is in soo isolated place and so far that most of the companies don't visit much. And if we get the job, the institution doesn't provide us NOC to continue our job so that's why most companies are not interested and we don't get to pursue our jobs.
In there final year students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies like Zyla, Jublient, innovate, sun pharma, mankind and others visited the campus. The no. Of offers depend from company to company but on average offer was 10 students Requirement. The highest package offered was Rs.30,000 per month while the minimum was 15,000 per month. Work profile was like in R&D, production and marketing. Around 20-30% of students are placed. My plan is to opt for higher education.
Every student gets placement from this college. If the student has knowledge then he/she gets the placement. Our college encourages entrepreneurship. Yes, alumni support junior.
