The best way I can describe my college!

In my college, firstly at the time of admission, it took only 1-2 hours and the admission process as my cousin brother was also studying there and the process is same as like other DU Colleges with respect to date and other things as well. college faculty is also very good and the college has good societies like COMHUB THE COMMERCE SOCIETY, Art and culture society, placement cell, NCC, Enactus which enhances skills. College is at a very good location as metro station is hardly 50 metres from college and bus stand is also not so far! There are so many good locations near the college like Lodhi Garden, Lajpat Nagar, etc. The college website and reference from my brother also added my interest in this college as it is a full-fledged day college.

I had opted for commerce stream in my 12th class hence I am from a commerce background and decided to do BCom(Hons.) from this college in the 4th cut off hence got admitted to this college. Mostly one teacher is teaching basically two sections in which two sections consist of basically 150-160 students. Faculty is also very friendly and have good experience in their respective fields and also teaching method also up to mark. and if talk about term exams they were held according to the DU examination schedule. The level of difficulty of exams is moderate.

The Placement Cell of the college conducts Internship Fair every year in the month of February which provides internships to all year students and campus placement for the last semester of the students with respect to their courses. Different companies visit every year and provide different offers to the students and if we talk about the highest and average package it depends on the company. If we talk about the ratio of getting placement then it is 15%. I am deciding to take my career towards the Law field.

The fees structure in my college is the same as in other government colleges and it varies from 8000-14000 and exam fees for every semester vary from 800-1500 according to different subjects. My college also has TPC,i.e; Placement Cell which organizes Internship Fair in the mid- Feb which provides placements to the final year students. College also provides admission to students from different scholarship schemes and student quotas.

Life at the campus is very exemplary. The college conducts different types of fests as in the commerce society of the college. i.e, COMHUB organizes COMFIESTA in the third or fourth week of February and art and culture society conduct RAJNIGANDHA FEST. At the start of the semester, everyone can get books as per their interest and their library cards also get issued after their admission. The library is the place where one can get books according to their interest. Classrooms are well versed with the basic amenities. The college has also different sports teams like cricket, football, etc.
