Remarks

One of the best college in Gandhinagar. Especially for anyone who is looking for computer engineering, SSIT college is a good option. I got admission through ACPC. It was a smooth process though. The faculties are quite helpful and they can solve your doubts weekly. Along with the studies, the co-curricular activities are good too. I have chosen SSIT over any other college is that one of my friends suggested it who is also from the same college. It is highly recommended who lives near Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is the same as per GTU's norm and the faculties are quite good. They can solve your doubts weekly. Along with that, you can get help from HOD too. The practical session is conducted by experienced persons.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 61000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

I have got an internship of 6 months and 1.5 years of Employment at Shaligram Infotech, Ahmedabad. The placement drive can help you to start your career as a fresher's. The placement committee can help you every time.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees are Rs. 61000 per Year. Yes, Scholarship options are available like MYSY, Also you can find an internship in the final year too. I am doing an internship at Shaligram Infotech which I got the opportunity through on campus interview.

Campus Life

The Social life at a college campus is quite amazing, The infrastructure of the college is good for studies and sports activities. One of my favourite places is the library which has a good environment for studies and reading.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

Excellent Learning Environment and Technical Growth at SSIT"

I applied to a few other colleges also, but either their fees were higher or the cutoff was higher compared to my rank. I did not get admission in some colleges because my merit rank was not enough to meet their cutoff. I chose this college because it has decent infrastructure, affordable fees and is closer to my home. Compared to other colleges, this college offers a balanced environment for studies. The admission process was simple and smooth. Admission was done through merit-based counseling as per university and state government rules. For engineering, exams like GUJCET/JEE are accepted and admission is based on merit list and cutoff. The college staff helped properly during document verification and admission process. Overall, the admission experience was easy and transparent....Read More
