If you study hard, then you can manage everything.

I got admission into the Hi-tech College of Pharmacy through OJEE counselling. My rank was 11 in outside state candidates. This college is located in Bhubaneswar inside the campus of Hi-tech Medical College and hospital. The college has a very huge campus. You can have a lot of amenities there like 2 ATMs to withdraw money, shops like stationery items, bakery etc. There is a small restaurant also. Two playgrounds are there. The college has good teachers but not for every subject. Practical classes are conducted very few times. Hostel life is ok types. 3 to 4 students stay in one room with an attached washroom. But rooms are a bit congested. There is no power backup.

The B.pharm course is of 4 years and the syllabus is according to the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The teachers have PhD or masters degrees. Exams are conducted as per the timetable of the Biju Patnaik University of Technology. If you study well then you can score good marks. The faculty is there but not sufficient. D.pharm course is also available in the college.

I got into the 2018 batch for which the college charged INR 70000 per year for tuition fees and INR 55000 per year for hostel fees. Fees can be submitted in instalments. There are some other fees like admit card fees and registration for a new semester. There is no scholarship system and also no placement offers.

There are no clubs or social groups. But the annual sports day is organised once a year which lasts for 3 to 4 days. Also, the annual day is being organised once in the month of Feb-mar. Classrooms are spacious enough but labs don't even have sufficient chemicals or equipment. The library is there and books are also being issued for every subject.

I am living in the hostel. You can register at the hostel at the time of admission. In one room 3 to 4 students live. They provide only beds and nothing else. But rooms have attached bathrooms. Some students live in pg also but they are at some distance. They have to take the auto to reach college. The meals in the mess are ok but too oily.
