Govt MAM College,Jammu is the best arts college in whole Jammu region with a plenty of subject combinations for the students If some one wants to go for civil services examinations for example Indian Administrative Services or Kashmir Administrative Services with optional subjects of arts then there is no better college in whole Jammu than Govt MAM College.

The course structure of this college for arts subject is best then any other arts college in whole Jammu region. This college has 50 different subject combinations for arts, 17 different combinations for Science, one for BCA & one also for BBA.

No, the college does not provide any type internship. But this college provide NCC & NSS through which students have reached at many good places.

This college does not provide so much job opportunities or placements but if some one who performs exceptionally good in any department then he or she can reach at good place via this college. But this college does not provide placements or job opportunities. Companies does not come to this college for giving placements.

This college organize plenty of events like dance, singing, show your talent etc. The college does not organize these events on a large scale but a lot number of students participates in these events & makes these events a joyful memory. But few days back a blood donation camp was organised at a big scale in the college, to which many people appreciated including the politicians also.

The fees structure of this college feasible. the fees structure for arts subject is from Rs 5000 to 6100 for 2 semesters. The fees structure for science subject is from Rs 5300 to Rs 7500 for 2 semesters. The fees structure for BCA is Rs 14068 for 2 semesters. And the fees structure for BBA is Rs 9268 for 2 semesters.

In this college there are 80% boys & 20% girls because this college has fixed 750 Seats for boys in which girls cannot take admission whereas from other 530 seats a student of any sex can take admissions. That is why the boys are more in this college than girls. The students of different religions/sex studies friendly in this college.

The exam structure of college is really good. The exams of the students studying in this college are held in the college. The question paper is set in the University Of Jammu because this college is affiliated by University Of Jammu. And the checking of the answer sheets is also done by University Of Jammu. The labs of this college have new & updated equipment.

The faculty of each subject is most of time present in their respective departmental area. Otherwise there is common staff room for all the teacher, some times the professors also seats there. The most of the professors have done PhD while others are NET qualified.
