My College Experience: Learning, Campus Life and Career Opportunities

Likes

Good campus, helpful faculty, and learning opportunities.
More practical teaching and better placement support needed.
Friendly campus life with good student interaction.

Dislikes

Need for more practical learning and better placement support.

Placement Experience:

Placements depend on students' skills and performance. Students can improve their employability through internships, projects, and technical skills. I plan to gain experience in the IT industry after my BCA and later explore opportunities in AI development and entrepreneurship.

Supportive faculty and a positive college environment

Likes

the teachers were supportive and explained topics patiently. I found the classrooms and library useful, and the overall atmosphere on campus felt safe and comfortable for learning
the course covered important subjects, and practical sessions helped me understand concepts better. The college also provides scholarship guidance and basic placement support

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes time during admissions and examinations. Faster communication and online updates would make the process more convenient for students

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are average, and students usually become eligible for placement drives in the final year. The placement cell conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, and occasionally invites companies for recruitment. Many students also apply for off-campus jobs and internships to improve their career opportunities. The packages depend on the company and job profile, and students who have good academic records and technical skills generally get better opportunities

Affordable Education with Career Opportunities at Dayanand College of Commerce, Latur.

I failed to get an engineering or medical college and I had connections to this college, hence I took admission here. I do not think I'm the position to compare the colleges for 2 different streams. Yes i did get rejected due to low score in entrance exams and boards. Students from Science and Commerce background can apply. Eligibility to get in this college for B.Com is 80% in boards ( for commerce). BBA/BCA admissions are done through CET. Cutoffs for these have not yet been revealed. Overall it is a smooth and easy process with minimum interruptions....Read More
