GTU, BE, Chemical Engineering

Reviewed on Oct 14, 2021(Enrolled 2019)

Remarks

I applied only for the Shroff S.R. rotary institute of chemical technology. Not availed any quota. Pay the advance fee for confirmation and the age limit is 18. College faculty introduce the college and whatever facilities available in the college, teaching skills, other programs, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

This college is known for Chemical engineering, and the faculties are also good. It is around 1:4. All faculties are graduates from good colleges and IIT. The teaching skills are nice and different from other institutes. Provide material and help whenever you face difficulty. Term exam is once in sem. And it is all on basic fundamentals and some twisted questions.

Class Size: 83Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Semister wise fees payment. The cost of the study is 49,500. The scholarship is given by the college based on the SPI and CPI. They give student education loans as financial assistance. UPL , ETL , BEIL , Reliance , etc. The company gives a nice stipend to students.

Campus Life

Reva fest and schemcon are organized by the college in October and December. There is a departmental library and common books library in college in which all books are available for reading. The classroom cleans daily and there is the availability of the projector to share slides and it is useful for understanding. The college arranges sports day in February. They support the students for the sports as well. Rotract club is run by the students.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
