My name is Ishant Pandey. I am a student of college of innovative management and science and here I am persuing BCA .I am a youtuber and also my channel have 7500 subscribers . I love to code and play cricket as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen this BCA course because i want to see myself in big multinational companies like google , microsoft etc. as a software engineer . this course will give me the best start to make my carrer in the IT field. The faculty and the students of this college is excellent . there taeching style id faboulus . The exams are taken on the semester basis . and the difficulty of the exam depends on the preparation of the students. once who has prepared perfectly will not face any problem to while exams.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies that takes part in this college for internships and placements as well. for computer science students the company tht offered internship was paytm , HCL and it also depends on the course as well

Placement Experience

The students are eligible for campus placements from 2nd as well as from the 3rd year based on the performace of the students in whole year and skills also depends . The highest package was offered to computer science students that was approx 72 lakh per annum in amazon company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees depends on what course you have chosen . profressional course like BCA demands little bit high fees more than the other courses . According to me the fees is not so much high as compared to other colleges . Yes , the college also gives oppurtunity to fill the scholarships forms . And the placement record of this college is extremly good as compared to other colleges .

Campus Life

They conduct various programs in college to give a chance to students to show their skills and talents . They also gives oppournity to students to show their skills in various sportz activities as well .

Good Internship Opportunities

Likes

The faculty members are supportive and always helps students with academics and projects
The campus has modern labs, good classrooms, and many technical and cultural events

Dislikes

The campus becomes crowded during peak hours due to large number of students
More industry internships and live projects should be included in the same curriculum.

Placements are good for students who Maintain strong academic performance and develop technical skills. Students usually become eligible for campus placement in the final year. Many well know companies visit campus for the recruitment, offering role in software, IT, consulting and other fields. The average package around ₹ 5.4 LPA , while the highest package has reached ₹ 60 LPA in recent placement drives.

Likes

I liked the Infrastructure here and the greenery and canteens well hygienic and clean .
Faculties are very supportive and well educated in their field they do encourage and support the students . They are easy to approach .
The campus life is very good here , the events etc and you will get to see various clubs here where you can participate and learn various skills like team work , time management etc.

Dislikes

Attendance criteria is strict here so that sometimes student faces some difficulty .
They can include more practical work for technical students .

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is getting better many students were placed this year with avg package of 4LPA and higest of 20 LPA . Percentage of Placed students is 60-70% in my batch because rest of all will go for masters . Companies like Chetu , tech mahindra visits here . From 5th semester students are become eligible for appling for campus placements and it is mandatory to apply those who want placement and if you once applied you have to attend the drive . They used to bring company till the students who wants placement are not placed apart from that they prepare students for placement throught PDP classes and one one to mentorship .

The beauty of United university

Likes

Good campus environment, clean campus as well as a lot of greenary in campus
Many security gaurds present at different levels of gates and availability of a lots of cameras
Faculty is good and understanding making it easy for the students to interact with the teachers

Dislikes

75 percent is a must and they font allow students to give exam if the attendance is below 75
The students are not allowed outside the hostel premises after 9:30pm
Hostel premises are closed during main festivals like holi and diwali

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

About my college

Likes

I like the strictness of the college every student have to be on time.if anyone is late they can't enter in the college.so that is the first thing I like about the college.this type of strictness should be in every college for the students.
I like the cleanliness of the college. My college is so much clean. there will not be any type of chips packet in the college . They keep our college clean . As I have completed one year in the college I have never saw a garbage in the college.
I like the teachers of the college they are so much cooperative. They are polite.if we ask questions to them they give us answers in a polite way. teachers are supportive in our college. They try to give us the best . So that is the things I like.

Dislikes

Our campus is small that is the thing I don't like . Courses in the college are limited. I wanted to do bsc with cs but in the college there was not bsc so because of that I had chose BCA .campus is small that is the reason of limited courses.
There are limited job opportunities in the college and limited internships. Placement packages are low comparison to other colleges. So the packages should be enough for students and maximum jobs should be taken by the students.
Competition are there in the college but there are some limited games to play if a student wants to play another game he can't play so the activities are limited.

Placement Experience:

In the 3rd year students are Eligible for the campus interviews. Students went from the college for the interviews in the bus. Teachers went there with the College students. Average package of the job is about 2 lakh per annum. Packages are not so good in the campus placement. there come companies like HCl, Wipro, TCS etc . 10 students out of 70 got placed in the campus placement that is not a good number. My plans after persuing BCA is applying for on campus interviews if I will got a good offer I will do that job otherwise I will apply for off campus interviews.

There are many placements made even though KCCILHE is a new college. Companies that visited the campus are HCL, TCS, Cognizant, etc. 80-85 % of students are placed. After completing my graduation in BCA from KCCILHE I will prepare for NIMCET for further studies.

Remarks:

In positive remark i will consider the faculty of the college is good if they are not forced to teach the same course structure which is deprecated 5-10 years ago Negative : in this College no one talk about innovation everyone is directed towards the course and theories leanr and give exam to get food marks No technical fest even, Not a single hackathon is organized in our College till now

CIMS- AN OVERVIEW

I applied to every college on the Lucknow University affiliated college list but chose CIMS due to the following reasons: > Networking: I had many acquantances who were currently studying or have just passed out with placements from CIMS. This helped me realise the actuality of the college. >Location: As mentioned, the college campus is located smack dab in the middle of the city. This was a major element in my decision making as I travelled by myself and need to choose a place not far yet not so close to my own home. >Student Body: As I made a visit at the college, I got to see the type of students who were studying at the college, I found them to be a great crowd and this played an essential role in the decision. The admission process was as simple as it gets. I was accompanied with my father and we visited the college campus and asked for a tour. When we were done with it, I had made the decision to enroll there. We filled the form there and then only and made a seat confirmation amount of Rs 3500, which was later deduced from my 1st Semester fee. I applied for BBD but I choose CIMS for it extra curricular activities and holistic development approach of the college and also the location of this college is also good as I am from gorakhpur but I stayed in hostel of CIMS only and every thing is easily available.
