Perfect college for law aspirants

Admission procedures controlled by cee. The entrance exam is known as the Kerala law entrance examination. The admission to the colleges gives according to rank in KLEE. Application for entrance exams usually starts in March of every year. There are two categories five-year LLB and three-year LLB. Both exams are done separately. There is an age limit for five-year LLB entrance. Plus two is the qualification. Another one is for three-year LLB, there is no age limit for Application and qualification is graduation in any subject. The higher rankers will be placed in first choices, usually higher rankers choose Ernakulam. It's the tightest college among the 4 government law colleges in Kerala. There is a reservation for sc, st, obc and EWS.

I chose law because I want to study law from a younger age. I wrote entrance and secured good rank and placed at my first option ie Government law college Ernakulam. Here faculty students ratio as per MG university rule, most of the faculties are doctor's in their area. They are very much helping to study and leading us to good professionals and for higher studies too. The course is on a semester basis, but the exams are not going well. It has been conducted by MG university, there is so much lag between semester exams. Exams are not much tough to pass. It's easy for average students.

Legal service authorities under the Kerala government offer an internship at their state, district, taluk levels. There number of companies and media offices and a number of law firms that offers internship with a stipend and without stipends.

A number of students from their second year placed for internships. Job placements are done in the final year. Most of the students choose to practice after graduation. There is a number of a law firm in Ernakulam. Thus internship opportunities are greater for students. There is 28 days internship every year as a syllabus. 80% of students are placed in companies. I'm planning to practice for 3 to 4 years along with preparation for judicial service exams.

Our college is 100% Government funded. Students need semester fees maximum of up to 5000 if they are not eligible for egrants scholarship. Other scholarships are also available under government schemes. Financial assistance to poor students is done by various organizations in the college.

The infrastructure of the college is very good. There are a number of moot court fest, student Parliament conducts on yearly basis. Annual arts and sports fests are also conducting by the college. We have a good library with having a good collection of books. There is a very good collection of subjects books and others also every year a lot of books are admitted to the library. Classrooms are smart classrooms. College is very much supporting to extra curriculum activities and helping to be good professionals we have a lot of Moot Court competitions and seminars. There is moot court club, environment club, boomitrasena, National service scheme, and internal quality assessment sales and etc.

We have a men's hostel and a ladies hostel. Admission to ladies' hostel is done on the basis of their distance to home. Most of the students were admitted to the college hostels. The college hostel is a very good infrastructure, mess, and friendly atmosphere. The mess of the hostel is homely and the mess fee is economically friendly affordable for all students. Here pg and private hostels are available at an economic friendly rate. Some students stay in apartments also.

Processes of admission through entrance exams are explained as before. Which is conducted by cee Kerala and is known as Kerala Law Entrance Exam. Students admitted according to their ranks students having ranks below 700 can place government colleges. There is one interview session after getting allotment The subjects for entrance are the constitution, legal aptitude, English and maths. Which is an easy entrance to crack. There are many entrance centers. I chose self-study for entrance and helped some youtube channels and seniors.
