NUALS is an average college which is below to the top NLUs in many ways but also above many NLUs an private law schools. Mooting and debating culture is there. But no sports culture. Yes there are sports but the college do not support to better it.
National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) is reputed universities of Kerala. It was established by Act 27 of 2005 of the Kerala State Legislature. It was earlier known as National Institute for Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS). It is situated in Kochi - the industrial capital of Kerala and the seat of the Kerala high court, 10 acre plot in the Kinfra Hi-Tech Park at Kalamassery.

The NUALS library has a collection of over 7,300 volumes covering a wide range of general and special subjects consisting of text books reference books, back volumes of journals, reports etc. The library subscribes to several leading law journals, both Indian and foreign and also a number of newspapers and magazines.
It has a campus wide wireless network for the student community. It has established 100 Mb bandwidth leased line connectivity from BSNL.
