Aanchl's Review On GD Goenka University - [GDGU], Gurgaon

An entrance exam is conducted through out the country. I got admission in this college on the basis of my score in my entrance test. The admission procedure was online. I Secured a percentile of 83.

Corporate Resource Centre strives to continually engage with its industry partners to strengthen the industry academic partnership. In this endeavor, CRC team collaborates with the industry partners for industry visits, leadership lectures, mid semester projects and other live projects.The CRC team also networks with the alumni for creating better opportunities for the upcoming batches.

School of Management, GD Goenka University, Gurgaon organized its 4th International Conference (ICON) 2017 themed “Dream, Build & Grow- Unleashing the Entrepreneurial Potential” on February 9and 10, 2017 which saw active participation from 46 institutes and corporates across 5 countries. 56selected papers were published in a book of proceedings released by Dr. Deependra Kumar Jha, Hon’ble VC, GDGU, Dr. P. K Goel, Dean, School of Management, GDGU, Mr. Swagat Sarangi, Co-founder Symtten and Dr. M. Akbar, Professor, IIM Lucknow and conference convener Dr. Tanuja Kaushik. Dr. H. V Verma, Professor, FMS, Mr. Karun Thareja, Marketing Head, Faircent.com, Prof. Arturo Dell’ Acqua Bellavitis, Professor, Politecnico di Milanoand Dr. Arindam Bhattacharya, MD, BCG Indiawas were the other guests at the conference.

Dining Hall is a Centrally Air conditioned 2 level building spreading over 13,000 sq.ft with a seating capacity of approximately 1000 students. The hall is equipped with CO2 sensors, fire alarm system, sprinkler system & Gas leak/ smoke/ heat detector. Dining Hall serves breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Bright and colourful furniture and special lighting create a chic Lounge ambience which serves Indian, Continental and Oriental cuisines. The menu is set by expert dieticians and cooked on campus maintaining stringent quality controls. Juices and organically cultivated fruits, vegetables and eggs are also part of the menu. Keeping in mind the sentiments, there are separate cooking areas for veg & non veg.

Practical approach with theoretical knowledge is the necessity to learn any field. Guest lectures enable the students in enriching the latest updates regarding avenues for higher studies and jobs as well as the need of the industry. While handling the real modern life challenges one must need the best academician with leadership quality and knowledge about soft skills. To extend learning beyond the classroom teaching, we at Goenka’s invite experts from the industry to conduct guest lectures, seminars and workshops. We invite the eminent personalities of various fields and stalwarts of the industry to lend valuable information from their first-hand experience which is serve as an ideal platform for the students.
