Journey of my exploration.

Basically the department of architecture is wonderful in our college and we are having fun learning.

I took NATA exam and scored 93 out of 200 and got admission into this college and cleared it on the first attempt to get qualified and I opted this college because I got the seat through counseling.

Course almost sums all things related to architecture and platooning and basically covers designing of urban spaces which focuses on space planning and functions.

No the companies don't usually come for internships in our college, well have go searching stepping in and out of firms one by one seeking for our internship , the stipend usually paid is around 3000-4000.

Regarding architecture there's no as such a thing called placement, once we finish our education we must start applying for jobs and we must find the same on our own.

There a few important events conducted in our days which are listed below 1 annual day, 2 department sports day, 3 fresher's day, 4 symposium, Our college allows us to participate in the annual event for architecture students called NASA every year.

Fees structure varies from student to student depending whether he got seat through college management or counseling, My college fees is around 1.5L per annum With tuition fees-70000, Bus and mess fees-44000, Research fees- 50000.

Yeah the college avails good scholarship to all students who get seat through anna university counseling, around 15000 is deposited in each student account.

No generally labs are a mandatory according to the structure of the syllabus so college has labs with all essential needs to taken care of, sports usually in the even semesters , inter department matches will take place and few competition like debates also will be held once in a year.

Hostel facilities are good with proper water, security but the thing is students lose their freedom they can't go out it s a jail and the mess food is horrible.

Since we being the first batch in the anand school of architecture we don't have seniors we the seniors and they are lot of support from the department of architecture supporting us and guiding us through the academics.

Our exam structure has been basically divided into three prototypes 1. Theory subjects 2. Practical subjects or the studio paper 3. Architectural design exams are pretty chilled out but only the design jury or the crit is crucial moment in every semester And we try to put our best submission possible for the jury by working relentlessly.

The faculty members are well trained and wait educated vested with considerable amount of experience, our college also has a few visiting faculties who are working as architects.
