I love the atmosphere here at OU, its very easy to make friends. Everyone is so nice and accepting, its a nice change from the mean kids in my highschool who judged everyone. No one judges you here and it's also academically challenging which makes sure you are getting the best edu ation possible, with many resources available to fit any academic/tutoring needs.

ICET-Rank 18250 Starting at a community college was a good option for me. I felt that my high school did not properly prepare me for the rigorous course works I would be taking at a prestigious 2 year institution. I used my two years here to develop the necessary skills to be successful.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum mapping is a process that supports Institutional Effectiveness by illustrating the integration amongyour program, courses, and class assignments. A map is a matrix that documents the connection between outcomes (what students will be able to do or demonstrate as a result of their studies).
Internships Opportunities
No Participating in an internship is an important experience to complement the learning that your student is doing in the classroom.
Placement Experience
Work placements and internships give you the opportunity to develop relevant skills, knowledge and experience while getting first experience of life in a real working environment. The placement is a formal part of your degree and you will be required to keep a log of your training and work experience during the year and to produce a report at the end of the year. These can be used as the basis for future applications for graduate jobs. They will also help you to analyse the skills you have developed through your placement.
College Events
During a now annual celebratory event that explored cultures and customs from around the world through workshops, presentations, talks and displays. The Celebrating Diversity event ran for a full week in March and activities were organised to be incorporated into lessons.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship, Most of the B schools offer scholarships to high percentilers and to the candidates with outstanding academic record. A part of your expenses can be funded with such scholarship amount. But neither it is offered to all nor it is a very good amount. Hence, it may prove to be a drop in the ocean. If the course fee is about Rs.10 lakhs, scholarship will be somewhere around Rs. 2 to 3 lakhs. You will still need a major chunk for the remaining fee and other expenses.
Campus Life
10-4 Understanding the importance of holistic development of the students we provide various sports facilities to the students and give them a chance to choose from a wide range of sports via football, table tennis, basket ball, volley ball, Cricket, badminton etc. To create sensible and socially responsible citizen the campus provides a platform to its students to render service to the society they belong to. Hostel Facilities
GOOD, There is a centralized canteen located near the Arts College. catering to the needs of all students, scholars and staff in the campus, at subsidized rates. It is open from 6.30 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. on all the working days. Students may entertain their female guests only for meals in the mess on direct payment basis with prior permission of the Warden and prior information to the mess staff. At present, the rates payable for direct payment basis are Rs. 25/- for breakfast, Rs. 40/- for lunch, Rs. 12/- for evening tea and Rs. 45/- for dinner
