Remarks

A person with PCM or PCB can eligible for this course. The application form is available on the college website. A person who is interested and really wants to join the college can fill out the form. No reservations quota for any student. A person easily get admission by paying a fee so no need for improvement in the admission process

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I want to open my medical store and this course provides me with this facility The ratio of boys: to girl is 3:1. All teachers are well qualified and the way of teaching is very nice. Two test was taken by the college and final exam in every semester

Placement Experience

Our pharmacy college is a new college which is set up in 2018. The main company is which students place is systacare. This year's first batch got passed out and many of them were already placed. Approximately 50% placed in this year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a 5% hike in fees every semester and the total fee for the whole course is 6.5 lakh including the hostel. Punjab students get a special scholarship of 50000. Bihar students can join the college via drcc scholarship

Campus Life

As college is a part of Amritsar group of colleges. So the common fest is for the whole group named as 'Prayaas' which is celebrated in the month of April. There are many social groups at central level of college but not social which is available only for our college

Hostel Facilities

Every room of the hostel is provided with four tables four chairs and fours almirah with an attached bathroom. The meal is not too good. There are pg and flats available nearby college at the distance of 2 km.

An In-Depth Look at Campus Life and opportunities at Chandigarh University

Likes

I think, the campus is being liked by everyone whether its staff member or a student, because the university consists of many blocks or departments and that too are named as A1, A2, A3, A4 & B1, B2, B3, B4, B5 & C1, C2, C3 & D1,D2,D3,D4,D5,D6,D7,D8
Parks and all are made for the relaxation purpose of the student
Car Parkings are available separately for the students and staff and that also inside the campus which is ambitious.

Dislikes

The semester fees and other expenses is relatively higher as compared to other institutions
Some students find the university’s rule such as strict attendance policies and accurate timings for the classes, quite stringent
Mostly 2 common times, one is in morning nearby 8.50 AM to 9.50 AM and in evening nearby 3.50 PM to 5.00 PM, the rush is like horses and buffaloes! There is so much over crowded & most of the crowd occurs by the Autos, but no one do anything for that

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i have opted the course B.Pharmacy! I rate the course as optimal, neither too bad nor too good, its medium! Now comes on teaching method, some teachers are really well and good and few are those who does not teaches but only writing writing, thats it, they will not explain at all! And one thing they should change is that All Courses except B.Pharmacy in Chandigarh University have the criteria to pass the student even below the 40% only or the half of the highest number scored by the topper in the class, and for Bpharmacy its minimum requirement to pass the exam is 50%, Oh My God! This needs to be changed, Now every year, in Bpharmacy, the overall 80% students are getting Compartments (Back/Fail) in the subjects, but the University is not understanding it all. So this should be changed as earlier!

Admission:

The eligibility criteria to get into this college is 10+2 pass with Science subjects. Admission is made through Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar followed by counseling process. I applied for the college and then got an admission offer letter directly and then went ahead with the admission procedure.

College is best and the location of the college is also good. But the teachers and the staff should be more creative to run a college. I can give 6 rating out of 10 to the college. It can be better if given more attentiveness

Experience of college life

Remarks:

Good words for the college is that the teaching faculty is very good if I see. Otherwise bad words for this college is that. Half of the classes are so big and students in the class are more than 60 so the teacher can teach properly to them.i would say to divide the students according to their marks like section-wise.

Postive Points It has a good infrastructure. Labs are clean and hygenic. Their is a healthy environment. Negative points Less no of teacher are available. Basic facility is not provided. No freedom about coednlogyy

Totally it was good to be a student of here and if I have to give a remark then I will only say that I am now earning 35000 per month in a multinational company. But it's not a matter of how much you are earning its matter of education in which this college is giving its best.
