Remarks

Pros: High Quality Education, work Ethics, Discipline, Exposure to Modern World, Cultural and Moral Values, Low Fee Structure, Scholarships, Internship, High Placement Rate. Cons: Extra Work Assignments. Very Strict Punishment over Indiscipline. No-Open Wifi.

I choose the college because of its dedication to Quality Education, Discipline, NAAC - "A" Grade ranking, Very less Fee, Quite and Peaceful Surroundings, Environment and Its Global tie-ups with various International Universities.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Electrical Engineering. The Course is well designed and there are provisions to go for research works in related fields. For ex: you can opt for High level Computer Science Projects with Faculty of Computer Science as Specialisation in Your concerned Branch. Regular Workshops on Nano-technology, Computer Logics etc are organised routinely. Extra Curriculum Activities and Annual functions also play important role for overall development.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, Internship Programme are offered to Students in 3rd year (6th semester) and the duration is 150 - 180 Days. Stipend is decided by companies which invites candidates. Range is 5000 INr to 15000 INR. In 2015 Inviting companies were Essar Steels Pvt Ltd India. Larsen and Toubro, Polplex, Honda Motors, Fiat India, Etc.

Since Batch size is small ie only 50 - 65 candidates are there in each branch, The Placement Rate is very High.Besides this, The Institution encourages the Students for START-UP by Providing Funds if the Proposed Reports seems feasible. In 2016, 49 out of 63 were placed in various companies like Honda Motors, Head Strong, TCS, Fiat India, Torrent Power, Titan Watches etc. Average Package was 4 lakh INR with Maximum of 7 lakh and Minimum 3.2 Lakhs.

Annual 7 Days NSS Camps in Winters that Includes various Programmes and Cultural Fests. Annual Singing and Dancing Competitions. Literary Festivals. Youth Parliament. University Day 31st January. And very beautiful Festival of VASANT-PANCMI for 2 days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is the Shining feature of the Institute. Hostel Fee is merely 2000 INR Per month Including Food. Tuition Fee is only 6350 INR per Semester BTech. Library provides free Books for semester in 50-60 rs only. No Fee for SC ST students for Library Book Bank.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is available to economically backward students whose family income is less than 3 lakhs. Sum of 15000 - 18000 is payed to Student under Scholarship Programme under various schemes by govt of India or State Govt.

Campus Life

In One Word, its fantastic. Total Work Ethics and High Moral for Every Individual is the Philosophy of this Institute. Just visit there once and you will see yourself. Secular Society. Co-Education. are jewels of the Institute. However Special Treatment to girl candidates is provided if they required so.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is Quite Good but somewhat inferior to the private Institutions. Very High Discipline and Decorum is there. College and Hostel are Tobacco-alcohol free zone. Mess food is not that much tasty. but snacks are best. Canteen is also there in College which offers food at very low rates. One can fill his stomach in just 20 30 rs for a Dosa, or Cholle Bhature.

Yes Very Much; Annual Talking Session are organised in which Graduated Students and Emeritus Professors are Invited to Guide the Students. Senior Students conducts Faculty level discussions to guide students on Internship, Project Works etc.

Presently there are 4 Branches are there; Electrical; Mechanical, Computer Science and Civil Engineering. Faculty for respective Branches are Masters of their Fields.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

placements were fine companies that were coming at the college for placements were mostly non tech and tech jobs were very less .Off-campus opportunities were better. i would rate it 2/5 . the companies approaching were also not the best

Likes

The quality of study is very appreciable. As our syllabus is very updated. Also the practical knowledge in colleges very good as well.
New buildings for 1st year as to prevent ragging is a very plus point. This prevent first year student from ragging and also give them a very friendly and good environment as well.
The placements are very good as in terms of quantity and quality as well many many companies came here and also many big companies which do not come in any other colleges in greater Noida also come in NIET.

Dislikes

The one thing I decide is high requirement of attendance which is 85% attendance by this criteria we get less time in fore hours kill enhancement and learning other things.
Also the coding culture is quite not good for 1st year as well so this thing also I don't like.
The other thing I don't like is that the assignments pressure was quite high in semester one and very very much assignments was given to our branches as well.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for setting in the campus placements is from 6 semester. And for internships the students become eligible from 4th semester and the internship is mandatory for every student. The companies visiting the college are quite in number. The highest placements which was offered during the ongoing placement is 44 lpa. And the average packages for company and profiles of a days 7 to 8 LP. The percentage of students getting placements are very good as 80 to 90% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get the highest placement

Likes

one of the best things about iiit Lucknow is the senior junior culture senior 8 January approachable and helpful
IIIT Lucknow has developed are reputation for its coding culture competitive programming open source project and hackettrons are deeply immediate
another unique aspect is the gender ratio which is the round one girl for every 2.5 poise compared to take institute is relatively balanced and healthy

Dislikes

compare to other reputed College Lucknow does not have very vibrant fest culture there are fewer culture music
hostel life has its advantages but the dormitories system from 2nd year onward is a big negative for many living with 8 to 12 student
most of faculty members simply come to class 11 lecture and their leave without much interest in melting student or classifying doubts

Placement Experience:

student are eligible for internship from second year and for job placement i think its from 3rd year highest is 1.45crpa avg 33lpa median is 26lpa this year around 201 from 209 get placement to that make around 96 %

I liked the teaching methods of some professors in our college .Their way of teaching is unique . In our college boy and girl ratio is approximately 5 to 1.
I also liked the ground and sports facilities of our college . Our college has 3 big grounds and a sac also a gym which has latest equipments and many more things.
The fests of our college is amazing , recently a fest called kashiyatra happened which is biggest fest of our college

Dislikes

I disliked the infrastructure of our college . Our college do not have ac in lecture halls or even there is no single ac for students in campus .
In our college the equipments in manufacturing practice are very old they are rusted and facilities don't even want to tell about those equipments. They are lazy .
Our college IIT bhu don't have their boundaries it is connected to bhu that's why clashes happened every month . Students of IIT and bhu fight every month and the service of proctor in IIT bhu is very disrespectful,they are lazy and don't take actio

Placement Experience:

Our college IIT bhu provides placement at end of year companies came for hiring students and hire them . Our IIT has 2nd rank in terms of placement in all iits. At the end of 3rd year students became eligible for campus placements. Our college also provide internship in third year companies came for internship in our college. My plans after getting degree is to get a high paying job in india and give financial stability to my family. Approximately 70 percent students get job in placement sessions.

Our college provides the training that includes DSA , soft skills and verbal & apptitude that the best for students for placements
The first year faculty of our college is very good and experienced having their phds
Our college infrastructure is also not that best but it's s above average, good water and electricity included Ac classroom provided by our college

Dislikes

The faculty of 3rd year isn't experienced they all are new teachers having 1 or 2 years of experience
They call students to come to college at placement time for regular classes due with we can't prepare for our placements
They take exams every months that I really don't like.

Placement Experience:

In our college I think placement are average, the average package is 4 lacks per annum. And the highest package is 34 lacks per annum.in the 2025 batch.There are approx about 60% of ye students get placed and some are left In the last of 6 or 7 semester students are eligible to sit in placements In our college the company that visit are finsol , commevault, nippons, hcl , juspay,etc.

Companies Visit every semester for placement and training. The student is Eligible for Placement from 4th year ( last year ) . But from 3rd students are eligible for Intership. The placement is very good, Mostly talented students got job easily. The avg package is 6 lpa. And highest is 52 lpa.

Inside Experience of my Time in University

Likes

I really liked learning in the Electrical Workshop. The Smithy Shop and the Welding Shop were my favourites. The Faculty there, were truly very enthusiastic and not stressful. The Electrical Workshop helps us to learn the hands on skills, of labour.
I liked the Cultural Fiesta, which is an Annual Event, where different Artistic, Technical and Sport Activities were prevalent. My favourites were Jam, Debate, Artwork, Basketball, Skits and Corner Plays, Creative Writing Sessions, Onstage activities
I liked the beautiful diversity and greenery of my University, different departments, crossing one another, everyone is friendly with one another. No unnecessary mess, during the class sessions, and there were not any such restrictions while we skip.

Dislikes

I did not like the high fees structure, which surrounded with our Course, as Btech is a vast expanded course, that requires more practical skill mastery, rather than theoretical study. I think the fees structure must be revised for deserving students
The Faculty were pretty knowledgeable, but I guess they did not put their knowledge into full action. Only a few Teachers focused upon enlightening the students with profitable learning. The use of resources and knowledge is indeed must for such.
In comparision to the high fees structure, I realised that the internship and campus placement opportunities were not adequate, to amass all the departments and their students. A Company Campus Pool is not something for both Commerce and Engineering

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.

The college is in my hometown so close to family and friends. No moving out having the comfort of living with family. Apart from this good syllabus structure. I was getting to learn so much more here than in other colleges. The reason i came back from college in Shimla, it was purely due to homesickness.
