Remarks

There are two ways of admission first is direct and the second is counselling through NPG or LU. Every process is good only improvement needed is to explain the process to students in full detail. There is no need to improve any process of admission because all are sufficient and faster than enough. I take admitted to this college by the counselling of NPG for getting a BCA course in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose a BCA course here. And there are 90 students in my batch now. The semester exam of my course is not so much difficult except maths subject maths is here on the advanced side which is also a part of engineering maths so you have to to give enough time for the maths subject. And the paper pattern of the semester exam is there will be 10 questions and you have to attempt any 5 of them, this 5 questions also can have subquestions in it. There is four-unit present in each subject in the 1st semester.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are lots of companies that come here to provide you with placement and internship some of the companies are Airtel, Vi, HCL, Infosys etc. College provides you with many types of things which help you to make projects for your good impression in a placement time if you're a permit of computer lab whenever you are free you can go there to work on any type of project you want to develop your skills for upcoming placement sessions. Also provides many types of club activities where you can learn many different things from other fields like dancing, singing, sports and acting etc.

Placement Experience

Our college also provides a placement cell for students. I am a student of BCA and my purpose of taking this course is only for having some technical knowledge for our upcoming future which is a fully Digital time. My plan after getting a degree is to go for a government job I do this graduation only for getting a graduation degree to apply for any type of government job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The policy and cost of study in this college are good for us. Our college provides you with a scholarship facility but it is not from the college side it is from up government so if you are a citizen of up then you can have the facility of scholarship for this college course fees except if your parents are in government jobs. I didn't opt any type of job from the college I didn't sit in a placement session because I want to go for higher education MCA that's why I leave the placement session. It's good enough

Campus Life

Our college also organises the fest and events here. There are 5 to 6 groups and social clubs are present inside the college in which day taught you some extra curricular activities some of the clubs are a sports club, cultural club, social club, placement club, computer laband one club known as misc club in which you get the chance to travel many places from the college side.

The faculty members are supportive and always helps students with academics and projects

Placements are good for students who Maintain strong academic performance and develop technical skills. Students usually become eligible for campus placement in the final year. Many well know companies visit campus for the recruitment, offering role in software, IT, consulting and other fields. The average package around ₹ 5.4 LPA , while the highest package has reached ₹ 60 LPA in recent placement drives.

Likes

I liked the Infrastructure here and the greenery and canteens well hygienic and clean .
Faculties are very supportive and well educated in their field they do encourage and support the students . They are easy to approach .
The campus life is very good here , the events etc and you will get to see various clubs here where you can participate and learn various skills like team work , time management etc.

Dislikes

Attendance criteria is strict here so that sometimes student faces some difficulty .
They can include more practical work for technical students .

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is getting better many students were placed this year with avg package of 4LPA and higest of 20 LPA . Percentage of Placed students is 60-70% in my batch because rest of all will go for masters . Companies like Chetu , tech mahindra visits here . From 5th semester students are become eligible for appling for campus placements and it is mandatory to apply those who want placement and if you once applied you have to attend the drive . They used to bring company till the students who wants placement are not placed apart from that they prepare students for placement throught PDP classes and one one to mentorship .

Likes

Good campus environment, clean campus as well as a lot of greenary in campus
Many security gaurds present at different levels of gates and availability of a lots of cameras
Faculty is good and understanding making it easy for the students to interact with the teachers

Dislikes

75 percent is a must and they font allow students to give exam if the attendance is below 75
The students are not allowed outside the hostel premises after 9:30pm
Hostel premises are closed during main festivals like holi and diwali

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

About my college

Likes

I like the strictness of the college every student have to be on time.if anyone is late they can't enter in the college.so that is the first thing I like about the college.this type of strictness should be in every college for the students.
I like the cleanliness of the college. My college is so much clean. there will not be any type of chips packet in the college . They keep our college clean . As I have completed one year in the college I have never saw a garbage in the college.
I like the teachers of the college they are so much cooperative. They are polite.if we ask questions to them they give us answers in a polite way. teachers are supportive in our college. They try to give us the best . So that is the things I like.

Dislikes

Our campus is small that is the thing I don't like . Courses in the college are limited. I wanted to do bsc with cs but in the college there was not bsc so because of that I had chose BCA .campus is small that is the reason of limited courses.
There are limited job opportunities in the college and limited internships. Placement packages are low comparison to other colleges. So the packages should be enough for students and maximum jobs should be taken by the students.
Competition are there in the college but there are some limited games to play if a student wants to play another game he can't play so the activities are limited.

Placement Experience:

In the 3rd year students are Eligible for the campus interviews. Students went from the college for the interviews in the bus. Teachers went there with the College students. Average package of the job is about 2 lakh per annum. Packages are not so good in the campus placement. there come companies like HCl, Wipro, TCS etc . 10 students out of 70 got placed in the campus placement that is not a good number. My plans after persuing BCA is applying for on campus interviews if I will got a good offer I will do that job otherwise I will apply for off campus interviews.

There are many placements made even though KCCILHE is a new college. Companies that visited the campus are HCL, TCS, Cognizant, etc. 80-85 % of students are placed. After completing my graduation in BCA from KCCILHE I will prepare for NIMCET for further studies.

In positive remark i will consider the faculty of the college is good if they are not forced to teach the same course structure which is deprecated 5-10 years ago Negative : in this College no one talk about innovation everyone is directed towards the course and theories leanr and give exam to get food marks No technical fest even, Not a single hackathon is organized in our College till now

CIMS- AN OVERVIEW

I applied to every college on the Lucknow University affiliated college list but chose CIMS due to the following reasons: > Networking: I had many acquantances who were currently studying or have just passed out with placements from CIMS. This helped me realise the actuality of the college. >Location: As mentioned, the college campus is located smack dab in the middle of the city. This was a major element in my decision making as I travelled by myself and need to choose a place not far yet not so close to my own home. >Student Body: As I made a visit at the college, I got to see the type of students who were studying at the college, I found them to be a great crowd and this played an essential role in the decision. The admission process was as simple as it gets. I was accompanied with my father and we visited the college campus and asked for a tour. When we were done with it, I had made the decision to enroll there. I applied for BBD but I choose CIMS for it extra curricular activities and holistic development approach of the college and also the location of this college is also good as I am from gorakhpur but I stayed in hostel of CIMS only and every thing is easily available.
