Remarks
Eligibility to apply for the course was +2. All the application process was done online. The fee was around Rs 650 to apply. I got admission in the general category but I was also able to avail benefits for OBC Category.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was actually good. The faculties were really helping and supporting. Most of the teachers are highly qualified with PhD and M.phil. The student: teacher ratio is approximately 10:1. Exams were conducted for six months. (One semester =6 months, 2 semesters in one academic year). The exams are neither easy nor tough.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you got admission on merit, ie; through a single window admission procedure, you don't need to pay any fees, semester fees will be almost rs 500-600/semester. Plus for SC-ST students, it will be very low. If you got admission in anex section(private section ) you have to pay a big amount as semester fees. All the government and private scholarships are available for students.
Campus Life
The campus life is really awesome. The memories will be always in our hearts. The authorities conduct different kinds of festivals to entertain students. The library is really big and has all kinds of books. The classes have basic facilities like a fan, light etc. The students conduct a charity programme on Fridays which is named "Patheyam". The motto is to ensure food for people wandering in the streets and poor people. For this food, packets are collected from the students. Overall, Cochin college is the best college in Kochi city. The campus experience is really awesome.
